2 out of 5 eggsWorst laptop ever

Pros: The specs for this laptop are better than my last laptop, a T420s. The hard drive is twice as big, it has somewhat more RAM, and the battery lasts much longer than the T420, but not as long as I'd hoped.

Cons: The touchpad buttons are almost unusable. This is not an exaggeration. The buttons aren't real buttons - the whole thing depends on taps, or you can press down and the whole trackpad will move. This is TERRIBLE. I can't believe any laptop designer would ship this solution on a product.

As an example, I spelled some words wrong in the paragraph above and I can't right-click to correct them though spell check. Other people in my office have the same problem.

The finger print reader also barely works. It's down in a hole, and it's hard to make your finger touch it.

The function buttons are now also the volume, brightness, and microphone buttons. So if you use Alt-F4 a lot to close programs, or any other function keys, you're basically stuck using the Fn button all the time.

Other Thoughts: I got my 440 from our corporate IT group because my 420 was crashing all the time. I figured an upgrade would be better. I made a mistake.

I now would prefer that PowerPoint crashed every 10 minutes. That would be more useable than this laptop.
