3 out of 5 eggsOK, but a lot of compromises

Pros: -Good price for feature set and included keyboard dock
-Performance is OK. I got the following games to run in a playable manner: Civilization 5, Deus Ex, Second Life (was jerky, but usable),

Cons: -Screen is quite dark. Deus Ex, while playable, was hard to see. Even Civ 5 had models lose detail because of this.
-The keyboard dock does not hold onto the tablet. My cat jumped onto the table and that little bit of jarring caused the tablet to fall out of the dock. When I left the table to make dinner, I came back to find that the tablet was still on the dock, but had tipped back just enough to disconnect from the dock.
-The keyboard itself is poorly designed. The keys have very little feedback, even less travel, and the keys are cramped. It's a bit odd because there is a little over an inch of extra width Lenovo could have used to get bigger keys, but they didn't.

3 out of 5 eggsNot pleased

Pros: Portable, great as a tablet,

Cons: The keyboard becomes disconnected to easily, the mouse/touch pad is too sensitive at times and at other times not

Other Thoughts: I bought this 2-in-1 hoping to use it to replace my laptop for work and general usage. Nope. Not practical for serious use. The keyboard disconnects very easily - like when I am working on it and sneeze, or someone bumps the table. Also, the mouse/touchpad can be overly sensitive at times and at other times not sensitive enough.
I think this would be a good computer for someone not looking to do heavy work. I am a teacher and use Word, Excel, and SMART Notebook all the time - typing up lesson notes, writing worksheets, tests, and such. This computer just isn't working for me with all that.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good For the Money

Pros: Very Sleek Design. Very Nice Quality Hardware, Brilliant Hardware selection.

Cons: It is gentle machine. Needs to be handled it very gently. Not techs or hard headed people can't use this. Need to be open minded to future next generation devices.

Keyboard attachment needs to be used in hard table. soft bed or angled table is not good choice. if you want to use the keyboard you need straight hard surface and it docks no problems and do not get detached.

Other Thoughts: I used this machine and install programs on it. It handles it very fast and I5 with SSD works great. Good screen resolution. As an Tech guys I can use it easily but for people not good with technology definite no.

5 out of 5 eggsBought a second one

Pros: As noted below, I bought one for the visiting mother in law. She left last week and I missed it so much I bought another one for myself, even though the price had gone up $20.00 in the interim - I even paid for faster shipping!

Cons: Price keeps rising, it is now even more expensive than at the time of my second purchase, so the value is getting worse. Still decent, but not as good as before. For the current five ninety nine as of the second week in january you're getting close to (though still under) some items with halfway decent keyboards.

Other Thoughts: I will use this 90% as a tablet, so will almost never use the keyboard, so that was not an issue for me.

2 out of 5 eggsNot what I was expecting.

Pros: The resolution is great.

Cons: Does not attach securely to the keyboard/ docking station. Keyboard is a huge weak spot. It disconnects often, so you have to stop what you are doing undock and redock the tablet. touch pad on the docking station does not support multi touch commands.

Other Thoughts: I did not realise I was buying a used computer. It was shipped packed with adware and viruses.

5 out of 5 eggsnice tablet for the price

Pros: Bought it for the mother in law for Christmas and have been playing with it on my own for the week she is with us. I quite like it.

Surprisingly nice piece of kit for significantly less than 600 bucks. Responsive, fast booting, fast shut down. Used primarily as a media consumption device. A tad heavy to hold the tablet only at 1.7 lbs, but that's the price to pay for 11.6 gloriously readable inches.

Cons: Keyboard is weird, and the dock is not for unstable situations, but it does its job well enough at the table or (I would presume) on the airline tray table. Mother in law puts a small pillow on her lap and then the docked unit on that and seems to have no issues.

Other Thoughts: the specs cant be beat for the price and the minor flaws of the keyboard are the price you pay. A great value/performance option.
