5 out of 5 eggs

4 out of 5 eggsGreat tabl;et/laptop

Pros: 1. lightweight
2. boots in seconds!
3. Great screen
4. Makes a decent windows tablet

Cons: 1. small hard drive
2. learning curve with Windows 8

Other Thoughts: Great tablet/laptop for the price. Bought it for the wife, and she loves it. A bit of a learning curve with Windows 8. My advice is to treat it as a tablet. Text, webpages were hard to read at first, but we bumped up the view percentage to 140% and it's perfect.

I did try to run Civ V on it, and it did work eventually. I had to reinstall Direct X. Civ V was playable, but a bit slow. I did not test any other games on it.

Overall great value for what I paid for it(bought over Black Friday week).

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: High quality screen and resolution. Fast. Quiet. Cool. You would never even know it is running it is so quite. I was going to get the Pentium I5, but the price on the I3 was too good to pass up. It is still a very fast processor and I am glad I decided to save the money.

Cons: My first Windows 8 machine. There is a learning curve, but I am learning to use the touch screen features. The tablet part is not very secure to the keyboard. It can become separated if you keep it on your lap and move a lot like I often do.

Other Thoughts: Great value.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome 1080p tablet

Pros: -Touchscreen worked, didnt have to open up the tablet
-i3 with 4gb and 128gb ssd
-Magnetic connection to the keyboard dock, reminds me of the surface pro
-Comes with the keyboard
-2 usb with micro hdmi
-Really diggin the SSD in this with the space/performance ratio.
-1080p display, also good for projecting or using another monitor
-Great use with microsoft office for productivity and other apps through the microsoft store

Cons: -Not for gaming or 3D intensive applications, but for basic use which is not really a con, but whatever
-Fixed angle on the keyboard stand. When the tablet is docked into the keyboard you cannot move it. It has a fixed angle
-Not really a con to this product, but I wished the Microsoft store was up to speed on the competition with the amount of apps offered. There are dragging there feet

Other Thoughts: I upgraded to this 2 in 1 because my old 2 in 1 is slow and extremely annoying. I used to have the Lenovo ideapad k3011w, but that one runs an atom processor and slow on some newer apps and web apps. I mostly use this one for my mobile computing computer/tablet because I have a gaming computer, but I enjoy sitting on the couch sometimes and using this one instead for web browsing, online shopping, etc. It does what I meant to use it for and then some. It can play some low res games, but nothing really more. Great for web based applications, web browsing, Microsoft office, other productivity applications, some games but none of the newer ones.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Laptop, Bad Tablet

Pros: -Fast
-Great Battery Life
-Decent Graphics
-Decent CPU For The Price

Great tablet overall, the i3 and 4GB of ram are decent for everyday use. Can play skyrim on medium settings at 30 fps. Got it on sale for $449

Cons: -Touchscreen Does Not Work, See Below For Fix

As stated with other reviews, the touchscreen did NOT work, so I decided to open it to see if there was something wrong with the connection and there was. The screen has 2 connectors on the bottom, one of the connector was okay and not loose but the other was in but it wasn't connected all the way. I plugged it in but it was a loose fit so I hot glued it in place and now everything works again :D

1 out of 5 eggsLenovo table

Pros: Looks nice.

Cons: This was heavier than I expected. The tablet did not work - that is, the touchscreen did not work. The tablet portion is very heavy, for a tablet. And, the two pieces don't hold together very well, in case you are hoping to use it as a laptop ever. It's a cute idea and I was interested but very disappointed. I recommend against this product.

2 out of 5 eggsTouchscreen DOA

Pros: *IF the touchscreen worked, it would be a nice tablet with keyboard dock. It's SSD is fast, and the 1080P display is nice!

Cons: Touchscreen never worked, and this is a TABLET!

Keyboard is a little lackluster, especially compared to my ThinkPad, but I guess that's to be expected.

Other Thoughts: As IT Manager I thought it would be a good idea to get our sales team a pro tablet, had Lenovo used Quality Control, it might have been a better experience. Unfortunately I didn't look online for others reviews and had I known prior that there were touchscreen issues, I never would've bought it.

Manufacturer Response:

Lenovo apologies for any negative experiences you’ve had with our product. We have not had any DOA cases surface in the launch of the Miix2 11 series and would be more than willing to assist you and or any Newegg customer with issues related to this high performance tablet.
