This review is from: Lenovo 2-in-1 Notebook Flex 2 15 (59418265) Intel Core i7 4510U (2.00 GHz) 8 GB Memory 500 GB HDD 8 GB SSD Intel HD Graphics 4400 15.6" Touchscreen Windows 8.1
Pros: Great screen including touch feature, overall good boot and file response, keyboard is good, cost (at the time around $750), battery life seems okay, AC adapter size is good.
Cons: Bloatware, construction, ports, size. Does not look easy to modify. No dedicated video card.
Other Thoughts: I originally was looking in the $500-$600 dollar range for a kick around laptop. Of course as I did more research my "nice to haves" list grew and I began to look for more features. I finally settled on this laptop and overall have not been disappointed. The drive response is good and I am glad I traded more space for a hybrid drive.
The screen impressed me right out of the box; not only for the resolution but viewing angles too. I have to admit I have not bent the screen back into the extended position yet. I am glad I went for the touchscreen model trying to get used to Windoze 8. I don't use the touch as much as I did when I first got the laptop, but it is still nice to do quick things without a mouse.
The touch pad is okay. I have to admit I didn't even try to adjust it; I got annoyed and got out my bluetooth mouse instead.
While the hinge mechanism seems robust it is still plastic-feeling. Keep in mind that this is a full-sized laptop. It is not heavy, but it ain't small either. If you are looking for an Ultrabook alternative keep looking.
I don't game on this laptop so I cannot comment on any metrics.
Lot's of Lenono apps (i.e. bloatware) that I uninstalled. I still have the battery manager app, although it is pretty worthless too and will probably be uninstalled soon.
Overall I have been pleasantly surprised by this laptop. I have a high-end Dell at work and I could easily see this laptop competing with it from a performance perspective (the Dell has much better physical construction). I am glad I dropped some additional $$$ to get some updated features. I do wish this laptop had a dedicated video card as I think that would send the display over the top. Nonetheless a great buy.

Pros: The computer is fast and starts up quickly. Has a Full HD screen (1920X1080). It is thin and has a touchscreen. It also can have up to 7 hours of battery life (based on your settings) For a college student long battery life is a must have. The computer also has decent size hard drive and it being a hybrid drive has an SSD which means your computer starts up even faster.
Cons: the dual mode - laptop to tablet and back- let me down. the screen does not fold back 360 degrees and so it is difficult to use it as a tablet at the angle it can fold down to (300 degrees). the angle of which you have to use the tablet function is annoying. Do not buy this computer if it being a dual mode laptop/tablet is one of the things you are looking for
Other Thoughts: The protection plan with New Egg is cheaper than with Best Buy than getting a computer with New Egg is definitely a plus. However, Best Buy will replace your battery at any time with their plan and as far as I know (check with an employee) New Egg does not.

Pros: Fast boot time ,smooth operation, pretty good battery life. The back folding of the screen fits my needs and is a smart innovation,it sits well on your lap.The light weight is also a nice feature.the touch screenwriters well as does the keyboard.
Cons: The Windows 8'1 is new to me and I can not really say much about it.
Other Thoughts: All around NICE unit ,hope durability is also long lived

Pros: Fast and intuitive for the price
Cons: Known battery issues, batteries have a chip like the one in ink cartridges these days. Not all the bugs are worked out and can cause the battery not to work at all
Other Thoughts: At this point I have had just over 50% of my new egg orders either not arrive at all o or arrive broken in some way. We are not amused.
