Pros: It does run the games I wanted... when it isn't busy crashing or going into self-destruct mode.

Cons: This laptop is the worst one I've EVER had! I had to send it back about 7 months in because of a series of crashes which ended at the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH.

Then they sent the thing back to me and the fan / harddrive tarted buzzing an the problem just happened again! Couldn't even locate the HDD.

This thing is so tricky and it still is glitching out andcrashing over any little thing on me. It's full of additional programs I don't want or use,

The keyboard itself is strange to type on as the keys seem thin and flimsy so typos are pretty easy.

Everything is a struggle with this laptop and I very much wish I had bought a different model... most displeased...

Pros: It works, barely.

Cons: 1) THIS LAPTOP IS SLOW, like seriously, a clocked it a 3 seconds just to respond when I press the start button.
Windows lag to open, programs lag o upon, it's like landing a spaceship on mars - you send the order and hope for the best.
thoroughly frustrating experience. I haven't even TRIED to run "heavy" programs like Photoshop or Unity Engine. I have a feeling that this thing will be exhausted at the level of "lousy e-mail machine" .

2) I don't know if this is due to bad delivery or if this is how this thing is built. but bottom part of the laptop body and the top are not really sealed, like if I press down next to where the keyboard is sunk in, the it looks okay if you look at it from the side, but the minute I let go it kind of pops out and there's a disturbing gap.

3) again, don't know if due to bad build or sub-par delivery but the bottom of the monitor leeks out light so when the screen is "black" here's two little beams at the bottom next to the sides

Other Thoughts: DON'T GET IT - I'm outside of the states, if I could ship it back I would.

Pros: Solid build quality aside from screen issues
Good hardware for the price
Games play buttery smooth at 1080p on high-ultra for most games
Surprisingly decent sound from the speakers (it's still objectively bad though)
Comes with external DVD writer (listed in specs but did not see it in the pictures)

Cons: The screen is is pretty bad, I have bright corners in the lower left and upper right of the screen from the pressure on it. Viewing angle is not great but it could be worse. Color accuracy is passable.

Other Thoughts: The exhaust for this laptop is a bit strange - the exhaust vent is located in the hinge for the lid instead of straight out the back. Not a big deal during normal use but when gaming you're basically blasting the screen with hot air - it also makes gaming while plugged in to my TV problematic because closing the lid severely restricts airflow. So far it has not caused any issues but I've only had the laptop for a week.
