1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: Small and my daughter adored it

Cons: She can only use this as a mobile device so she can't even do a lot of the use of it that she would like to.

1 out of 5 eggsUseless

Pros: 0.o

Cons: Everything. I know what I was buying into but this is way below what they make you expect.

I could not do anything on it other than start it up. As some others have said before, the track pad was horrible, the system barley worked even after tweaking it.

This is not worth the time or money.

Other Thoughts: Stay away from this product as if your life depended on it.

2 out of 5 eggsKnow Your Limitations

Pros: Price

Cons: Almost everything else.

Other Thoughts: When I first opened it there was a piece of paper on top of the keyboard, it said:

Know Your Limitations

Windows CE OS is limited to mobile applications, and does not support adobe flash
player/ windows media player 9 or higher.

Limited to pre-installed applications. No downloads are supported

Limited streaming video capabilities

(In the above quote the missing capitalization and punctuation are theirs, not mine.)

It comes with a lot of Icons on the desktop. I removed the icons for the programs I
don't need. I like a clean desktop, and I see desktop icons as redundant when the same
programs are available on the start menu. When I re-booted they were back.

It has three USB ports. One is for a flash drive, and the other two are for a USB mouse
and keyboard only. My flash drive and keyboard worked as expected. The mouse was a different story.
I tried two different mice, a Microsoft mouse and one from Logitech. Neither one worked.

1 out of 5 eggsBuyers Beware!

Pros: It turned on...

Cons: I read the reviews and did my homework before buying this product. Thus I had reasonable expectations for its capabilities. All I wanted was a device that was ultra portable and would allow me to check my email, take notes, and save compatible documents temporarily until I could transfer them to my computer at home. The first problem was the battery. It arrived in the box separate from the unit and was obviously defective. It is a two cell lithium polymer type battery and one of the cells was puffed. Installed and tested to confirm. As suspected, would not completely charge and discharged in under 30 minutes. Put in a call and email to Mfg. no response after 3 days. During the wait I tested the units abilities. Connected wirelessly easily enough, but would not check my email due to "out of memory" error. After learning what tools were available, I turned off what little I could and allocated all possible memory to program execution. Same result. (continued in other thoughts...)

Other Thoughts: Finally, I attempted to take notes and was once again disappointed. The processor was unable to keep up with the included word processing application TextMaker. As I typed the cursor would disappear and reappear at random which completely garbled any text I tried to type. Typing extremely slowly helped slightly, but not enough to be acceptable. This product at this price could have been a very limited but useful tool at a good price. Unfortunately it is completely unusable for anything... Newegg is great, been purchasing here for years and rarely return anything. This one is a complete dud and I'm really surprised that Newegg is selling them especially when the Mfg is not trying to do anything to help. Stay Away!!!!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small size, light weight. great for email, web surfing. Is slow but works well for what it is. Battery runs it about 4 to 5 hours, I turned the screen brightness down pretty low, I think that is why the battery lasts longer. Don't buy if you are expecting a netbook with big hdd, to game, watch movies, etc. 'cause this is not the device you are looking for.

Cons: First one was DOA, RMA'd it back to Newegg. replacement works fine. too bad whoever recertifies them doesn't thoroughly check them out, pin in the power receptacle was broken off, cost an extra $9.99 to return, replacement was shipped at no cost. Probably won't by another refurb from Newegg because of having to pay to return it when it should not have been sold in the condition it was in, good case of Buyer Beware.

1 out of 5 eggsE-Go. A-Wful

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Battery lasts about 20 minutes.
Trackpad is the jumpiest piece of nonsense ever.
Win CE is slow and clunky.

4 out of 5 eggsDefinitely worth the price

Pros: Small, Light and inexpensive.

Cons: If you want a lot of video it is not for you.

Other Thoughts: I purchased a Netbook years ago when first released ($179). It still works and this is pretty much the same for nearly a third of the price. I intend to gift this after assuring it works (it does) and other than a small learning curve and getting used to the slower speed it is a bargain. Flys right through airport security without the usual laptop hassle. Don't even need to unpack it. Buy a few.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat for kids

Pros: Out of the box (installed the battery) charged it up and was able to connect to internet immediately both wirelessly and wired. It is not terribly slow. Browse the web pretty easily and watch videos on you tube. Computer has not crashed or locked up in the first week.

Cons: Current operating system is limited (don't expect to be able to install just any program). Exterior (outer shell)gets scratched very easily

Other Thoughts: I purchased two of these (for my daugther and sister). This fits their needs just fine. they are able to get on social networking sites and listen to music at the same time and IM. There is also a text writing program to do homework (eventually they will get to that part).

3 out of 5 eggsGood as a tool

Pros: Cheap. Inexpensive. Small enough to fit in your software bag. Good enough for using as a testing tool for wired and wireless. DOS prompt to ping. Web Browser. SD slot. Battery life seems pretty good for how small it is. Clear bright screen.

Cons: Only software is what it comes with, can't install CE programs. It gets pretty slow. Mouse acts weird somtimes.

Other Thoughts: If all you need is a netbook to get on the web its "OK". For a nearly pocket size tool for testing networks it fine. You can't expect much for 70 bucks. Not a choice for everyday use at all
