Cons: bought 2, both died after 6 months.

Other Thoughts: returned one tablet, and the replacement was just as bad as the first. I guess you get what you pay for. Shame on me for trying to save a buck.

Pros: Nice price, Newegg had this unit for $179.00 plus a $50.00 newegg gift card, but 2 days later Newegg had this same LePan 970 for $10.00's less, I called Newegg and they issued me a credit for the $10.00...very nice

The LePan 970 to me is well worth the price, great display fast graphics for some games I play, good speakers, is this machine going to run ICS, No but I didn't purchase this for that, I added a 16 Gig SD card, lasts many hours on battery and I was very happy with this unit for 2 weeks.......

Cons: 2 weeks into using this I was charging the unit overnight and the next day I push the power switch and wake this unit up, well that didn't happen so I pulled the charging cable and reconnected and the unit woke up so I pushed the power button and nothing happened, tried many times researched this issue and noticed its a common problem, so I was still in my 30 day replacement warranty with Newegg and filled out all the paperwork and Newegg paid for the shipment back to their location and I am waiting for the new unit to be shipped back to me.

Other Thoughts: Newegg handled this matter as I expected, perfectly! This is why I am a Newegg customer.

Pros: Very bright and vivid screen (better than my iPad). Google Play access (not all Android tablets have). Fast and responsive.

Cons: Sometimes locks up (only on my daughter, when playing music via the AMZN MP3 player).

Other Thoughts: Excellent value! I bought 2, one for my daughter and one for my son. My daughter uses hers for e-mail, music, and You Tube. My son uses his for games. Both are very happy.

Pros: Works, but somewhat slow

Cons: Would be great if LePan would allow or offer an upgrade to the Android 2.2.
A-2.2 is a little "old"
Also, the 2 gig of onboard memory is restrictive considering most apps from Google Play want to load onto resident memory.

Pros: Was affordable, Fast enough processor, and a durable build.

Cons: Freezes, and doesn't turn back on.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately this device didn't last even 2 months. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend and she used it pretty minimally for face book and email. The bulk of its use was for you tube videos and netflix, which we had no problem streaming. My issue with this product isn't the software, because for what you're paying it is phenomenal. My issue is that after only a month and a half, the tablet froze, we restarted it, and it wouldn't turn on. We let it sit for the night and tried it again in the morning. No luck. So regardless of how cheap or fast this device might be, it isn't worth the headache of returning it. I had read hundreds of reviews before buying this product and wish someone made it simple for me...So please...DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. PRODUCT!

Pros: Android is sweet.

Cons: We purchased this for our son's christmas present and in the first week it broke. The power button sticks and/or loses contact internally. In other words it will not turn on no matter how long button is held or how many times it is pressed. Being I bought it a more than a month before christmas returning it was not an option so went to le pan and registered our complaint, was issued RMA. Took about 4 weeks to receive replacement and it didn't last the same day and had the same problem. Crazy. I will admit I do not have the best of luck so went for it a third time and another 4 weeks and received our third one. In the first week power button acted up and the battery would go dead in about 15 minutes. Le Pan refused refund only offered another RMA. So we pay another $15 to return, that would put us up to $45 to simply "try again." No dice. Went and purchased Samsung Galaxy Tab and have not looked back. Will say you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: I wont try to save $30 or so (it was on sale) over tried and true brands. Just my take.

Pros: Good Tablet for the price. Better display when compared to other tablets

Cons: My original tablet crashed 4 months into use. But was quickly replaced with a newer one - quick and simple - no hazzles in the process

Other Thoughts: 2 months back - when my tablet crashed and was told it would be replaced, i requested the customer care for a newer model Le Pan II (of course, i offered to pay the differential - $299 minus $249 i paid for this one). They turned it down - it was a simple thing - they could ve accepted. Now i see the newer one going for $269.

I wanted to give 2 stars but i still like the product so still giving them a 4. Hope these folks look into customer loyalty over their policies...

Pros: nice screen and brightness. Can hold 32GB MicroSD. Simple and easy to use (my 3 year old can use it). Nice and friendly customer service. Loud speakers. Like the look, feel and performance that I purchased a Lepan II with 3.2.

Cons: Small power button. heavy. Not android upgradeable. The 1st one died within a month. Newegg replaced under the 30 days - Love Newegg!! The 2nd one started freezing every 5 mins within 1.5 months after receiving it. Have to press reset button every 5 mons. In Lepan repair facility now.

Other Thoughts: The Lepan II is much better than the Lepan TC970 (or Lepan I). The OS functions so much better. Not sure why the Lepan TC970 dont allow upgrade to the newer android OS, it might improve the problems that is occuring. The Lepan II still running without a problem for more that 8 months now. When the Lepan TC970 works it was a nice unit for the price.

Pros: I think this would be a very nice product if it was working properly.

Cons: The unit I received would freeze when I plugged it in for charging. After unplugged it would not reboot properly, and froze frequently during the boot sequence. It required many manual resets to get it functioning after charging. This wastes hours of time each instances the device needs to be charged which makes it useless.

However, the real issue is how poorly New Egg is handling my RMA. I received an e-mail today telling me that the New Egg team found nothing wrong with the unit. In addition they told me there was a scratch on the screen. If there is a scratch it was put there by New Egg. Now the company is trying to return to tablet to me without service or replacement. They claim I had a virus or it merely needed reset. I work in IT so I am aware of how to reset a tablet or when a virus is causing a problem, this is not one of those instances. The tablet is defective and needs to be replaced or refunded.

Other Thoughts: Even if the unit was scratched when I returned it (which I do not believe is the case) it should not matter because New Egg sent me a tablet that was broken in the first place! If this isn't made right in a timely manner I will never do business with New Egg again, either personally or through my company.

I will update this review if situation is remedied.

Other Thoughts: Knocking off one egg for first one having issues with the touch screen. Newegg handled the replacement well and promptly, but I would have preferred better qc. Otherwise, it's great. And a very good value. Wish it came with ICS but may be upgradeable.
