1 out of 5 eggsZero Support

Pros: Worked well for 7 months. Upgraded to ICS fine. Only issue like others have said, is youtube will not play HD quality without lagging.

Cons: Wouldn't start or charge a couple weeks ago. Response from "support" said "get it fixed locally" Doing this would void the warranty, which apparently doesn't exist.

Other Thoughts: Price is competative because no support is available for Le Pan products. Warranty is a sham. Maybe this is why newegg doesn't carry their products anymore.

4 out of 5 eggsNice little tablet

Pros: Affordable, fast processor, quality display.

Cons: Laggy while playing YouTube.

Other Thoughts: I really like this tablet. It's fast, the screen size is good and resolution is very sharp. The only bad thing is that it is not very good while playing YouTube videos it constantly buffers, especially when playing in HD. I don't have those problems while watching Netflix or Ama#on on demand videos they play without a hitch. If you want an affordable 9" tablet is would recommend the Le Pan II but if size isn't an issue, I would definitely go for the Nexus 7 or Kindle HD.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent device

Pros: Awesome value. Great screen, very fast and responsive. The upgrade to ics was simple, and the battery life is easily 8 hours. I haven't had any trouble with wi-fi , and the internet speeds are on par with my laptop.

Cons: You might get a lemon. Fortunately, lepan and new egg both have relatively good warranty's. In my opinion, this is the best tablet you can buy for under $300. That being said, it is not an iPad. You will most likely experience occasional glitches, especially if you don't take the time to upgrade to android 4.

1 out of 5 eggsDissapointing Support

Pros: Good looking product with great screen resolution. Easy to use interface. It would be nice to include a fabric pouch.

Cons: In March of this year, I bought A LePan tablet as a testing device for website programming. While this tablet lived up to expectations at first it started losing functionality and connectivity by month three. This Table is only used a few times a week and by month six it would no longer connect with any Wi-Fi device making it nearly useless for our needs. I emailed support multiple times requesting an RMA and got no response. We finally connected with a live service person by phone and he directed me to the LePan website to generate an RMA request on line. Finding it strange that the “live” service representative was not empowered to issue an RMA we went to the website and submitted the required forms. Two days after submission, we finally received acknowledgement of our request but still do not have an RMA to return this deaf table for repair or replacement. New Egg has always made support and service a high priority—sadly LePan's service is not up to their high standards.

3 out of 5 eggsnot so impressed

Pros: when it works , its ok.

Cons: charging cord is cheap, and not very durable. I have 2 Lepan ll's and 1 lepan tablet. not all that fast , freeezes often.

Other Thoughts: I ourchased these going on the basis of all the reviews i read, I opurchased themn for my kids and one for myself. the Lepan tablet I had it sent back for repair or replacement for the first 6 months. the Lepan ll's have been just okay, onwe of them does not hold a charge very long, they both don;t play you tube videos very well at all.
The charging cords are absolutely horrible and cheap. I have gone through 3 of them already, the head just becomes loose and they disconnect from the cord, I don't know who these people are that are writing that these are as good as I-pads, its not even close,.
The service dept has beeen good at responding back, i will give them that. but you should not have to deal with them as much as i have.

4 out of 5 eggsBasic tablet with some issues. overall ok tablet

Pros: Very Quick Processing, Screen Clarity, responsive touch screen, Speech recognition is almost perfect. Speakers are Really Great for music. Over all weight, hold button works as expected, wifi signal is close to Perfection, GPS is worth every penny. GUI of android

Cons: Apps keep crashing, When changing background to live wall paper settings crash, Facebook app crashes all the time. Lack of information on how or where to go to install Android Ice cream Sandwich, After i upgraded to ICS 4.0.4 I was notified with Tampering detected DRM Disabled warning. That was a shocker as seeing it is advertised to be upgraded. Seen the warning three times, have not seen it since, Put the device to sleep by quick press of power button and it would not wake back up after i repressed the power button. This started the second hour of owning device. Lack of audio settings for youtube and other audio programs, i listen to google play with high audio settings but when i switch to youtube i have to insert ear buds just to hear videos. Time Warner cable app works fine, Gmail,Google chrome and Play store work fine. Camera is lacking and leaves alot to be desired. some video chat apps leave me wondering if i am muted or active mic, For instance the app tango is like that,

Other Thoughts: GPS needs to be enabled off any data connections. you can download and save parts of google maps to use offline but I was hoping the app would work without a data\wifi connection. The tablet works as advertised. I expected hiccups because this tablet is from a fairly new company. it is to be expected. Other features i would enjoy would be a rear facing cam and higher pixels with flash. Other than that the product is built sturdy enough to my daily life. Thank you For reading my thoughts and experiences.

5 out of 5 eggsNot too shabby

Pros: Owned for 48hrs. Like always, fast shipping with newegg. Tablet feels solid and is pretty snappy on the apps and network. Hope it will last. Will update if problems occur.

Cons: Shows lots of finger prints and glare on screen. Hope to resolve with screen protector

Other Thoughts: Was losing my wi-fi connection. Found out you have to turn off wi-fi disconnect in the screen time out mode. Factory defaults have wi-fi disconnet when screen times out to save on battery life. Once I turned that off, all issues were resolved and no loss of wi-fi connection

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage item

Pros: None

Cons: Customer service is terrible. I bought the tablet on february and have got to use it 5 times. Sent the first one back to newegg, on my dime, cause wouldn't connect to open wifi. They sent it back to me said nothing was wrong, yet still wouldn't connect. I then send it back to lepan and they send me another one, which I finally received last week. I get to use the new one twice and now it won't turn on so I have to send another one back for a, third time on my dime. Don't bother to by this piece of garbage

5 out of 5 eggsNow with Ice Cream Sandwich!

Pros: Cheaper than an Ipad yet with the same screen size 9.7 inch 4:3 display. Upgradable to Ice Cream Sandich as of July 18. UI is smooth with the update but the tablet was useable before ICS.

Cons: Slippery, Plastiky metalic edges feel like they are going to come off. Front Facing Camera leaves much to be expected.

Other Thoughts: Waited a long time for Ice Cream Sandwich, and the Upgrade process isn't what people would find the easiest though there are detailed instructions on the manufacture's site to install it.
