5 out of 5 eggsLiking it more and more every day!

Pros: - Price (low price = more satisfaction)
- Full Android tablet (rootable)
- Bright, crisp, large 4:3 screen (perfect size for web browsing, book and comic reading, email, Google maps, etc. Movies at 16:9 will of course show black bars but, really, do you spend more time watching movies or doing other things on your tablet?)
- Rugged (dropped it on a floor mat over carpeting at about two foot height with absolutely no damage)
- Ample built-in memory & up to 32 gb expansion
- Flash-enabled
- Fast WiFi (no problems using WPA2 Personal, TKIP+AES, broadcast-enabled SSID)
- Receives streaming video from my PC media server (using PS3 Media Server and Skifta)

Cons: - Not as smooth or polished as an iPad

Other Thoughts: I've got an iPad 2 at work. I placed my Le Pan II next to the iPad and compared screen scrolling, web browsing, and Google Maps. The iPad wins, no question. The Le Pan is a little bit choppy in most if not all of those areas. The Le Pan’s performance is perfectly acceptable mind you, but I can see why the iPad is so expensive because Apple pays attention to the whole user-experience thing.

Given that, would I personally buy an iPad? No. I'm not going to lay out that much money on a non-Flash proprietary piece of electronic entertainment that will probably be obsolete in 2-3 years. This Le Pan fits the bill for my needs right now. It's certainly not the best tablet on the market but, hands down, it can't be beat for the value. Get it, you won’t regret it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Light, well built, good battery life, large screen for web site use, great price.

Cons: Wi-Fi can be a little flukey to connect to my Linksys Router - sometimes I need to go to settings and bring up the list of wireless networks before it will auto-connect. But once it finds my network, connection speed is great.

Other Thoughts: Sold my iPod touch and replaced it with this thing. Does everything I need - web site use, skype, netflix, and more. Very happy so far.

3 out of 5 eggsMixed Emotions

Pros: The price is right. The construction is very sound. The graphics are very vibrant and clear. The sound is good. The screen is responsive. The SD slot is awesome. I found a 30 GB Class 10 microSD card on the net for $19 (no lie-and it tested at Class 10 speeds) and installed it to bring my internal storage up to around 36 GB (minus about 2 GB for the operating system and apps). So, if I compare everything I am getting in this tablet with another brand (whose name I will not mention) with 32 GB I think I am getting a pretty good deal.

Cons: The battery runs down quickly (usually 5-6 hours). I keep it tethered now when I use it. The power button, as others have mentioned is a pain in the @#$%. You'll see, if you buy one. The 2 MP camera is pretty bad but I don't care about video chatting. My camera also has a few dead pixels right in the middle. The most annoying thing is the Wi-Fi connection. It drops spontaneously and goes into airplane mode for no apparent reason. No, it's not my Android settings. I checked that more than once. It's just screwing with me I think. This may or may not be the pads fault. I wonder if Android isn't the culprit. We'll see if things change when ICS is ready. One more annoyance: If you have more than one or two apps running YouTube and the browser run like a dog with three legs.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, I think this tablet is a good deal. It's not perfect but is anything really perfect? For the money you can buy two and give one to a friend. Give one to a girl. It might get you laid. Not bad for $278 if she's cute. And for all those people worried about image and thinking, "It's not an iPad" I don't care that it's not an iPad because iPaid much less for it and it does the trick.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent tablet for almost half the price.

Pros: I wanted a tablet but after research and seeing some brand names costing over $450, I settled for Le Pan II. The reviews on this baby was so impressive, I took a chance and bought it for less than $280.

Well this tablet is such a hype as every1 said it and more. Beautiful display, easy to connect wifi and so fast, and it does much more than what I intend to use it for. I don't see why any1 would spend almost or more than twice the price for something else.

Cons: None at the moment.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat tablet

Pros: The display on this tablet is great, I have seen other tablets that run $450-$600 that can barely compete with the clarity this tablet has. Everything works like a charm and it even fits in the 10.2" tablet case I bought.

Cons: The only thing I would like to see is an led on or near the 30pin plugin to let you know that it is charging. Other then that the screen can get smudged pretty quick if little fingers are around (but what device like this doesn't out of the box)

Other Thoughts: For the price this tablet is amazing, it runs all the android store apps flawlessly. I even played some of the OnLive (tm) games from their website on this and they ran as good as they do on my high-end gaming PC. It takes a lot to really impress me with a device like this, but I am impressed and telling everyone I know to check this tablet out.

1 out of 5 eggsUnresponsive screen

Pros: Build quality felt nice

Cons: Was shipped loose with no padding in outer box.
Screen had several dead pixels.
Touch screen unresponsive.

Other Thoughts: The tablet powered on fine, but the screen wasn't responding to any input. I couldn't get past the lock screen. The reset button did nothing but reboot me to the same unresponsive lock screen.

5 out of 5 eggsle pan 2

Pros: Nice tablet. I looked at other brands at local store just to compare some tablets. The le pan was not there but viewed many reviews online. Build quality is excellent, brushed alum back with chrome ring around edges. Crisp screen, fast to open apps, size its a 4x3 which I prefer and most others are 1200x800. Netflix runs perfect as well as youtube. Web cam is a 2 mp which looks great, par with any other tablet. Skype quality is very good as well. I have read about wireless problems and have not seen any. I also bought a targus case for hp touchpad from flea bay for $20.00, which others have used and fits perfectly.

Cons: Mine like others I have read about has some light bleeding near bottom of screen. In my experience it usually is where pressure is put on the screen, fastener etc, but still I don't care about it. I only notice it if the background is black. If I was to purchase a different tablet the toshiba thrive is nice, I did not like the acer, asus transformer was nice too, but this sucker is almost a $100 cheaper, throw in a micro sd and you are good to go. Do not hesitate to buy this tablet.

Other Thoughts: New egg is awesome. I bought this on Sunday and shipped that day and received it on tues to canada. I purchased a acrchos 5 a couple of years ago and was very happy with them then.

5 out of 5 eggsWiFi with WPA mode

Pros: Hi guy, I heard many nice positive for this baby. I don't want to say the same thing. I know it works well on WEP security mode. Does anyone have good performance on WiFi using WPA security mode for this baby?

Cons: Not yet
