2 out of 5 eggs555gt........

Pros: I do not own this item, but these specs don't come close to the price.
looks cool, has track-pad and a nice keyboard.

Cons: For how expensive this laptop is they could have at LEAST given a gtx 660m. or gtx 660ti m if that is out yet.

Other Thoughts: Go with an Asus.

5 out of 5 eggsRazer Blade

Pros: All in all the Razer Blade is wonderful, portable gaming is all I can ask for. I love it. I bought mine here on Newegg, paid a lil to much for it but that’s ok. Anywho. The specs do the job. Mine came with, R3U1 Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7 2640M(2.80GHz) 17.3" 8GB Memory DDR3 1333 256GB SSD HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M. I wish it had at least a 6 series GeForce GT but the 555m does the job just fine. MW3,BF3Crysis2, CS GO and many more. I did updrade from the 256GB SSD to a 500GB SSD just for space.

Cons: One dead pix. Ill have it fixed by the end of this month.

Other Thoughts: Love the Blade. 5eggs all the way!!!!

1 out of 5 eggsRazer Blade - A Disapointment

Pros: Its a Razer product, Ive been gaming w/ Razer products for years now and I do believe that Razer makes quality products. However this "Pros" list will remain short due to the overwhelming number of issues that I ran into during the first 2 weeks that I had with the first Blade that I received.

Cons: Day 1 - the blade reformatted 30 minutes after I installed the OS and had begun installing updates/drivers.
Day 2- Saw extensive screen tearing on Diablo 3 (which, as far as games go, is not graphics intensive)
Day 4- I began to run into problems with the switchblade. I had programmed the buttons to open several different apps and had changed the background on the LCD display. About 30 minutes after I had finished making my customizations the switchblade had reset to factory defaults. I didn't waste my time customizing the switchblade again after that.
Day 5- continued problems with the trackpad. This time not with the software but with the function of the trackpad itself. Several times the trackpad has frozen and become unresponsive. When it was responding it became extremely "touchy", I could not scroll across my desktop without moving several of my icons. I had to stop using the trackpad because I could no longer browse the internet without clicking several links per minute that I had no intention of clicking on, highlighting, etc.
Day 11- The graphics card overheated and died completely while playing Diablo 3.
I truly hope that I received a defective laptop and that I will see none of these issues with the replacement.

Other Thoughts: I have been a PC gamer for a longtime. I usually build my own computers but I wanted something portable that I could game on (moving my tower, monitor, and everything else around was getting pretty old) so I went with the Blade. I rushed into this order, there are plenty of laptops out there that can game just as hard as the Razer Blade without the gimmicky switchblade trackpad and the extreme price tag. Bottom line - I would not recomend this laptop to anyone. I feel that I paid 200-300$ for the trackpad alone, to find out that the switchblade is a disapointment. This laptop came real close to being great; I just wish I had been on the Razer design team when they were working on the switchblade. (IMO - those buttons shouldnt exist, instead the LCD trackpad should've incorporated that space to make secondary browsing (yes I did use the LCD screen for web browsing while playing Skyrim (console commands are fun :D)) easier. I see no reason why those buttons couldnt have existed on the touchscreen itself.) My apologies for the longwinded review, I couldnt help it, like the title says I am extremely disapointed with my purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsFast Fast Fast

Pros: Fast - quick setup - slick interface - great mouse placement - macro's on the fly setup -

Cons: external everything basically - which is fine

Other Thoughts: I wish Newegg would have giving me a better deal to combine - i see that now that i puchased it, I could have got some cool SWAG to carry it like a backpack for 2.00 - it's only been a couple of days. Also the website AT razor had it for the same price, and they would have given me swag too - Looking back I wish newegg would do the right thing for buying a 2400 laptop - now they offer the backpack...
