2 out of 5 eggsdon't buy

Pros: cheap, works(hopefully), a little bit easier to navigate than smart phone.

Cons: no GPS, screen breaks easy, VERY EASY, don't drop it at all and treat it like fragile material, charger requires special port. NOT GOOD FOR TRAVELING. WILL DIE OUT ON YOU! no gps? Seriously?

Other Thoughts: Get a Nokia Lumia 520 if you just want something cheap ($90-140) for traveling. Has a GPS and is much more durable, I've dropped it like 10 times and it still works.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I bought 2 of these back in March. At the time they were the cheapest 7" Android tablet out there money wise. It does what it is advertised to do.

Cons: On one unit the charging port stopped working right, and the cord had to be pushed in a certain way and then propped to keep charging. The other unit stopped working altogether and is in the process of being RMA'd. The units cannot be charged by means of the USB port unfortunately. Also for some reason when playing 1080p movies the sound gets out of sync, but when I play the same filetype and in 720p format it works fine, so maybe processing/memory have something to do with this. Also the wifi tends to be weak.

Other Thoughts: The RMA process was simple for the first unit and they sent out a new power adaptor. Hopefully this second RMA process will go just as well. Overall if I had to do it over again I would have spent the extra few bucks on better quality units.

5 out of 5 eggsI've had this 6 months. Time to talk

Pros: Still works. No problem with power adapter. Never needed to retrun or RMA. Works as described. I've use it every day without issue. I just want to make a clean review for anyone wanting a very inexpensive table to play with. It found it's nitch for content delivery, news, videos, email.

Cons: WIfi range is low. Oh well! No bluetooth. As advertised, not a problem. Low battery life. Not unexpected for the price.

Other Thoughts: I've had this thing for 6 months. Lots of review were negative. I never had the problems these folks had. I came back 6 months later to review it. Hey I wanted a (cheap) inexpensive entry device to see check out the hype of tablets. After I got it I searched for a purpose for this gadget and finally found it, content delivery, news, videos (TED), email, text. If you want to compose a thesis get a real computer keyboard. If you want to talk to friends on skype use your phone. A teble is what it is.

1 out of 5 eggsSave your money

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Bought 2, both broke with in a week. I think they just glued the power input to the backplane or something. They don't support charging over USB so both are paperweights

Other Thoughts: Save your money or get something a little higher end but more reputable. These were a waste.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy, terrible quality

Pros: Its basically disposable.

Cons: This is not worth the money. After less than six months of light use, the internal DC power jack broke. It appears to be a manufacturing defect, the solder joints are weak. After contacting the company, I was notified I'd have to ship it back at my expense for a replacement that is obviously a manufacturing defect, check the other bad reviews. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

Other Thoughts: Absolutely do not buy this terrible product, or anything from the company. It will break and you will have to spend an additional $15-$30 on shipping if you want to use this for more than a few months.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for what it is

Pros: Cheap easy to use functional

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: For the price I connect to hotspots, I use it as an mp player and watch downloaded movies on airplanes. Use it daily, I can fit in ant pants pocket to walk around as an mp3 player. I send email and surf the web speed is reasonable Android is very easy to get used to if you have used windows before

2 out of 5 eggsdo not recommend it

Pros: cheap

Cons: short life battery, after 3 mons the battery go bad and difficult to charge it. Screen is not clear. Low speed to load contents. Low quality for camera and camcorder. Rally want to return it back but out of 30 day period.

Other Thoughts: I bought for $65. it does not worth that money.

4 out of 5 eggsvalue package

Pros: Jelly bean and high resolution screen are nice, battery life pretty long (4 hours almost), intuitive, able to uninstall factory bloats (FB, pandora, netflix) for my most used Google related aps. 1 GB ram is nice, waiting for 32GB SD card so i can load it with files (eBooks). Camera works. Got through newegg promotion for $68. Avatar claims to provide life time tech support.

Cons: unit drops wifi when shut down and restarted, recalls passcode at least. Also odd that you can select auto brightness for display setting but it doesn't hold. Hangs up on some youtube videos, seems to do better perhaps if closer to the router... so some shows are majority buffering vs. playing. Big Dog channels seem to play better (BBC, etc.). Screen senstivity is pretty low -- have to repeat taps on some buttons some of the time

Other Thoughts: build quality is pretty good for the price

1 out of 5 eggsDissapointed

Pros: Plenty powerfull, decent CPU, good RAM, even a dedicated GPU

Cons: Bought two of these for my kids, 6 and 8. Their tech knowledge rivals that of most adults. After 6 months one of them will not finish booting, the other has a bad graphics chip that constantly flickers before going out. My kids are not rough on things, these are just not great

Other Thoughts: No bluetooth, and small onboard memory. Expected at this price range.
