4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: The Avatar Sirius HD Tablet is pretty good for what it offers, It's not the best, but not the worse that i have dealt with... Start up time is pretty quick with programs loading up pretty well. I do recommend adding a 16-32GB SD Card as your backup storage to send your apps to keep the tablet running quicker and not having the Nand Flash cluttered.

Cons: There isn't to many cons that bother me about the tablet except one thing... For some reason the Battery indicate doesn't let you know when it is about to be depleted, I don't know if this has something to do with Jelly Bean being that i am a new user to this version or if the battery is just being burned away so quick to a point that the tablet can't keep up with it.

Other Thoughts: Other then what other reviewers have been saying the tablet is pretty good for the money... I initially bought it for Android Games which is going to go pretty solid with my capture card on my PC So i don't have any complaints... Just hope if Avatar decides to come out with anything else then maybe a 16GB Model.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: 1. Surprisingly fast. It ran all the latest games I have tried on it. It can handle it.
2. The microSD slot lets you add much more room. I used 16GB with no issues.
3. Rooted already.
4. Front and rear camera works fine. Not the best resolution but adequate.
5. Workmanship seems fine. Plastic back but solid.

Cons: 1. Only 1024x600 resolution. Not HD but good enough for most people.
2. The display fades out when looking at it from different angles. Landscape is okay but when looking at it in portrait, you must tilt it slightly to get full brightness.
3. Poor battery life. About 1 hour.
4. Mini-hdmi cord not included.
5. Wireless reception is fair at best.
6. I would have been more impressed with more RAM.
7. No GPS but I didn't need it.

Other Thoughts: I own a cheap PMID703C and a Nexus 7 as well. This is FAR better than the PMID703C which I classify as junk, and nearly as good as my Nexus 7.

For 1/4 the cost of the Nexus, this is a good deal. If you want a low cost tablet with 90% of the features in a $270 tablet, this is the one to get.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Seemed like a decent tablet.

Cons: No bluetooth.

Other Thoughts: I needed this tablet for an application to use at work to connect to some instruments using Bluetooth. It isn't mentioned anywhere in the specifications as far as yay or nay, but it does not include Bluetooth. I had to search for a few hours before finding a post on a forum saying that it did not have Bluetooth. I wish it had been addressed more plainly. Just don't want anyone to have the same mistake.

1 out of 5 eggsLost the cheap chinese electronics lottery

Pros: None

Cons: White screen on power up. All I get are the boot-up sounds. Hard reset and various button combos on power-up yields nothing.

4 out of 5 eggsThere are better at similar price

Pros: Cost
CPU speed and Dual Core
RAM

Cons: Screen....
This 7" is a narrower one compared to some others. Also brightness isn't great and adjusting it much will make colors wash out.

Other Thoughts: It is good buy, but personally I like the eFun one better.

2 out of 5 eggsRoll the dice

Pros: Santa brought one to my 2.5 year old. It runs Netflix like a boss - which is his favorite. He loves it. He can turn it on, start Netflix, and plays his favorite shows all by himself. Google Play offers a number of free puzzle games and other educational apps for kids as well. Most other apps run - if it is a 3D game, it will probably lag horribly. The tablet lives in a 7" tablet pillow stand which works perfectly, except it blocks the speaker. I solved that by taping a plastic Gerber Baby Food cap to the back to channel sound back out to the front.

Cons: It seems the MFG quality is hit or miss if you scan the reviews. On mine, the main power jack does not work at all. I verified the wall adapter is functioning. We are forced to charge via the USB, which takes probably 4-5 hours if the unit is OFF. That wouldn't be so bad, but the battery only lasts 2-3 hours with basic use. The sound quality is horrible. Do not try to move apps to the SDcard to free up system memory - they will not run from there. The camera is also junk, but who cares!

Other Thoughts: All in all i do not regret my purchase. We let our son use the "digital babysitter" about 30-60 minutes per day when we need to keep him occupied. He would much rather use this than watch any movie or programming on the TV - he likes to push the buttons and start/stop his shows randomly, crank up the volume, do puzzles.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst tablet for personal use

Pros: I purchased this tablet to use as an entertainment device. I saw reviews claiming this device didn't work right out of the box or soon after. I have found it to work quite well.the video playback is superb. I almost always use headphones so the sound is fine. I let my kids play with it and it has been dropped a few times. The only thing that does not seem to work is the auto rotate. Of course, it is in a simulated leather fold open case, so it is somewhat protected. Downloading and installing apps then moving some to the 32 GB SD card was a breeze. Used with Skype video and it worked smoothly. So far have been pleasantly surprised how well it works. I used to watch videos with a laptop and find this so much easier to get the video up and increased my watch time, instead of waiting for laptop to boot. It is like having a large phone with a much better display. The Wi-Fi has been flawless, connecting anywhere Wi-Fi is available. This device is perfect for what I expected to do with it at a very affordable price. I have not tried a more expensive device but I can't imagine needing anything more. My friend has an expensive alternative and he can't watch video as easy, if at all or do anything better than this device to date. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Cons: Auto rotate did work when I first got it. Wondering if dropping can damage this feature.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent enough except No SOUND

Pros: Good for the price, got it on sale. Does pretty much everything (that a higher priced tablet would do) I purchased it for except.........1024 x 600 I can live with.
Looks good, light (easy to travel with), & the battery holds charge very well in between uses.

Cons: Except.....These have to be the worst speakers of all time. Not even sure why they bothered putting one in at all. Can only listen with headphones or external speakers with their own volume controls. Have to keep the volume at Max on the tablet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Tablet!

Pros: I did a lot of research on this before I bought it. The specs are great but I'd like to know what the limit is on the Microsd card. It's the best tablet I could find with a rear facing cam at the price of $74. Shipped.

Cons: When I got it it had a spec of something UNDER the screen but I was able to bump it to the sticky edge of the screen and now I don't see it!

Other Thoughts: I would buy 1 for everyone I know if I had the money to do so.
