1 out of 5 eggsPiece of Junk

Pros: Cheap? Not really considering lasts only a few moinths

Cons: Lasted only a few months
Screen very crude
Battery life a few hours
Slow Processor
Low Memory (but not out of line with price)

Other Thoughts: The tab only lasted a few months before it would not power up. But even if it was still working this tablet is very crude. Screen terrible. It was highly pixelated and fuzzy. Battery life was only a few hours.

Even though it seemed like a great deal because of price, once you consider longevity the deal is terrible. If this is indicative of HIsense products I will not buy anything else of this brand.

1 out of 5 eggsProblamatic screen

Pros: Nothing in paticular.

Cons: I had this replaced twice for a screen issue. All three models had it so I have to assume it's an issue with the product itself. Holding in portrat orentation, the right side, and only the right side, has an absolutely horrid viewing angle. This causes your left and right eye to see slightly different colors making everything look weird and eventually causing eye strain. Think of it as a simmilar effect of wearing red/blue 3d glasses, but confied to the screen and only with certain colors. This problem makes the product pretty much unusable in portrat orentation. Seeing as I bought this solely for reading comics, it's now uselss to me.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Good Tablet

Pros: Super cheap. High connectivity rate, fast transfer speeds. This is a good little tablet for checking emails and light internet use. Also great for hooking up to projectors for presentations and movies with the use of the mini hdmi. Fast processor with only a couple of apps running

Cons: no 5ghz band wifi. Lightweight processor which gets slighlty bogged down over 6-7 things going at the same time (othere than sys proccesses). Delicate front pane (the thing you touch)---do not drop.

Other Thoughts: It's good if you just want something to check your emails, read a couple of books, and casually surf the internet. It's awesome at that, perhaps even giving business presentations on the go. If you need lots of processing power then you should look elseware.

2 out of 5 eggsOkay

Pros: Great for a kid if I had a charger that worked for it.

Cons: Wasted fifty dollars on this now that I can't use it, because the charger never worked once I got it.

4 out of 5 eggsStellar

Pros: -Decent quality screen. Compared the screen quality to my iphone 5s and it was not far off but don't be so positive when you read that. 1024 x 552, 9.4, easy to read text.
-Easy to add google account.
-Google Play Music
-This enabled me to discover the +moon ereader, my new favorite app that works.
-Slick android OS
-Snes9x is realy fast.
-Doom3 shows up in app store
-Whole independent community forum based on this tablet
-Cool looking.
-refurbished but feels new and works perfectly, no smudges.
-easier to carry around than a clunky laptop.

Cons: -Wifi is slightly buggy but I haven't had much problem other than it being just slightly slow. It probably works better with older encryption but as I say there is a whole community dedicated to this device. I have had absolutely no problem finding my own networks.
-No gta-s. I was saddened that I could not even find my pre purchased GTA games.
-1.18gb total hd space for apps. The only reason to root really.
-no bluetooth

Other Thoughts: This thing rocks a rock chip 3066. A very common platform and one I'm familiar with as I have an android mini pc that hooks up to my small lcd tv. While one thing I've noticed is that the screen is actually scaled rather than my android mini pc running on an old 480p tv's 16x9-to-4x3 nightmare, this thing is rather complexly streamlined. Usually when I think of a rockchip I gather my thoughts on the frustrating deployment of online chinese made products being liquidated. This is not one of those buggy tablets that someone you or someone maybe you know has ordered. It has a professional feel with humble audio and visual quality. Even though the wifi appears to have one-at-a-time downloads much like what was innovated upon by apple during the development of OSX in terms of system processes, for what it's worth all I really want to do with it is read books. And this thing is amazing as an ereader. I've discovered moon+ reader and it works good alongside box. I'm sure you could attach a controller somehow and to some very light, light gaming. Perhaps some snes9x. For me it's an amazing entry into the tablet world because of my shallow approach in light of its bugginess. I'm giving it a 4/5 because its price makes up for its slightly-under-quality. I like it.

2 out of 5 eggsRebate Process is a Scam

Pros: No problem with cord not working that others mention

Cons: rebate process - I sent in EVERYTHING! They turned it down saying the UPC code was invalid despite coming right from the box. Unfortunately, I failed to make copies so I take partial blame. Not the speediest of tablets but not bad for the price.

Other Thoughts: Save copies of everything in the rebate will likely need them.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat purchase for $44

Pros: I needed something to replace my laptop once I built a PC, and I didn't want to spend too much money on a mobile note-taking device. This tablet is good enough to take notes on and surf social media. Wanted to go with an American-made product in hopes of it being a little bit better quality and quicker shipping. This tablet has not disappointed me on these things.

Cons: Only a couple cons. It seems like you can't manage unused pages. Likewise, you cannot add home pages either. You are stuck with the default five. The camera is also sub-par.

Other Thoughts: Great purchase for $44, any more expensive and I would look somewhere else.

2 out of 5 eggsWon't connect to wifi

Pros: cheap

Cons: get what you pay for

Other Thoughts: I bought two, both won't connect to my home wifi. I have 4 other tablets, couple laptops, all connect fine. Worthless

5 out of 5 eggsMeats min spec of hearthstone

Pros: This is a great little tablet. Is speedy and performs on par with my ipad mini 2 for generic tasks of angry birds and updating facebook. Combined with an otg adapter, it also makes a great portable picture / video viewer.

I haven't tried it yet, but reviewing the Hearthstone for Android min requirements, this lil' tablet will do the job nicely.
Hardware 6-inch screen or larger
Operating System Android 4.0 or later
Memory 1 GB RAM

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsRebate & Device FAIL.....

Pros: Price and HDMI...

Cons: Pretty much everything else.... firstly, I ordered when there was a Newegg $30 rebate. Now, I will start off saying this first complaint is partially my fault... but their response is unacceptable. I received the rebate card and was able to use it due to the fact I was traveling abroad and frankly did not see anything I wanted to purchase. I get home a couple weeks ago. Finally, back on track and went to purchase something using my $30 gift card and it expired 10/14. Fair enough... I call newegg rebate line and the person was not rude, but not interested in helping me at all. Ultimately, once your rebate expires you lose it. Mind you I just bought this 6/25/14 so that was a fairly small window to shop anyways. I asked the rep to simply issue me a new card and he acted like it was his money he was giving me. Simply said no and if there was anything else.... then just hung up. NOT a way to make a customer want to purchase something with a rebate EVER again....

Now on to the device. The device worked fine for navigating the internet, running apps, and even ran a couple of games fairly well. The issues that my device had was the screen was not bright at all... even all the way up. The case/frame was sturdy and did not feel cheap, so that was good. Also, it has a mini HDMI which worked easy enough. The final con that ultimately made me donate this device was the battery. The battery would just dump. I would be at 80%... put the tablet down 1 - 2 hours later and it was dead as a door knob. I was going to put this in the kitchen or something and keep it plugged in, but the dim screen was non view-able with the kitchen lights on... who cooks in the dark???

Other Thoughts: Ultimately, I would give this to a 12 year old or younger who is willing to use this in a dark area while it is plugged in. No real use outside of that.
