Cons: Have to take it apart about once a week to reset the USB cable back in it's slot that runs NEXT to the fan so the fan doesn't keep hitting it. Next time, it gets glued into place like it should have been from the factory. Very poor design. Too small for a 15.6" Laptop, maybe just right for a 13" or 14"

Other Thoughts: Does it cool a laptop? I haven't seen any changes. It just keeps the laptop off of furniture, blankets or your lap.

Cons: flimsy, badly designed. must use feet when typing. fan breaks after 3 months.

Other Thoughts: fan died after three months of use--was hoping it would last a year at the very least but failed.
would try to move the blades with a pencil from the back and it would spin for maybe 20 minutes, then stop.
very low airflow but does the job for a $10 product.

Pros: Has a good size

Cons: It is good for the price paid.

Pros: The concept was good. There's certainly enough potential air flow in the mesh design.

Cons: The implementation was terrible.

1) The usb cord does not fit snuggly into any of the usb ports in my household snugly(I originally thought this might be the fault of my laptop, but tried it in my desktop, my wife's desktop, and my wife's laptop. This makes the fan unreliable and unstable, as any movement of the laptop leads to fiddling with the usb cord until it's sitting just right to get power properly. In a mobile platform like a laptop, you can see where this gets old fast.

2) The fan is too close to the exterior, and poorly set. Any slight tilt(which is easy to achieve with simple typing, because the bottom is round), causes an annoying crackling sound as the fan hits against the exterior mesh over and over.

3) The actual fan isn't that great at keeping the laptop cool. There is definitely a difference, but it is slight. I was expecting more performance from a large fan like this on my small laptop(a second gen alienware Mx11). You're better off not buying this because it was cheap(like I did) and getting something a little more expensive with fans that perform better.

Cons: It makes a loud noise every time it is plugged in. It sounds like a plane engine and helicopter. Absolutely horrible. I want to throw it in the trash. I know I cannot return it or even exchange it because it has been so long since I had it. I am just living with it unplugged until I can get a new one. HORRIBLE FAN!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!

Pros: - Great cooling; keeps my laptop almost icy cool
- Looks nice
- LED is nice

Cons: - Fan construction/mounting is a bit dodgy*
- Wish LED had a switch/toggle

Other Thoughts: The case itself is nice enough. Perhaps not the most solid, but unless you handle it like a fool I don't feel it's likely to simply break or be damaged. Do be careful, though - the fan was nice and silent when I first got it, but I accidentally bumped it against a table at some point a weird way, and since then there's a slight rattling/buzzing in the fan... annoying, but not particularly loud or noticeable. Just be careful with it I suppose. :P

Pros: Cheap
Decent airflow

Cons: I thought it would have more airflow... Don't use on yourself if its hot, you wont feel anything.
It's pretty small for being designed for 15" laptops. The rubber feet on my brothers Gigabyte P25Wv2 are half hanging off the edges...
And to add to that, it uses a 10" usb cord. His laptop only has 2 usb ports and he uses external gaming mouse and keyboard. So we plugged it into a "wall-to-usb port," you know that thing that lets you charge your phone.

Other Thoughts: Please don't contact me "manufacturer". I just don't give shoddy products 5 stars. Fantastic deal though, for $9 I'm very happy I bought this for my brother's new gaming laptop :)

Other Thoughts: GOOD INVESTMENT FOR 8.99., I COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR ANYTHING BETTER THAT WORKS PERFECT FOR ME.

Pros: This thing is great, transformed my laptop into a cool running machine. I was having a lot heat issues and the bios was forcing shutdowns, but with this mat I have no problems what-so-ever.

Cons: No usb pass=through, so I loose a USB port.

Other Thoughts: I could do without the bright blue light in the fan unit, I'd rather have a status LED.
