Pros: very smooth, not much noise fits my 17.3" laptop

Cons: USB cable is a bit short, need some time of extension to get it to the other side of the laptop to avoid cable clutter

Pros: This is a really good laptop cooler. The body is part plastic part aluminum. The large fans are fairly silent and not annoying. The cooling performance is excellent. Variable fan speed is nice and the hub on the device provides a powered USB to devices. Can charge my phone, use a USB keyboard light and charge my wireless speaker all off of the hub with no power issues. I love this thing, it's the best money I've spent recently. Excellent for gaming which is why I bought it.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Sort of a brand I've never heard of before but am impressed. No quality issues with this cooler it all works extremely well.

Pros: -Very solid build. No flexing nor rattles even when I try to twist it.
-Fan do blow enough air to make a difference
-Sits well on lap or a table
-Angle isn't adjustable but I think it's a good angle
-3 USB out ports

Cons: -Airflow isn't the highest
-Fans aren't loud but are audible
-a little expensive
-Corners are sharp

Pros: Good airflow (and good cooling)
Adjustable fan speed
Aluminum surface
Fits my 17" laptop perfectly (unlike other coolers that really look made for 15.6" laptops that say 'up to 17')
Adds 3 additional usb2 ports

Cons: Fans are louder than the single 200mm fan on the N6000 model.
Corners are a bit sharp.

Other Thoughts: Unlike the N6000 I reviewed, this cooler had a very positive impact on my temps - I saw an average of -5 degrees C difference with the fan on 100%, but this came at a cost of noise. The N6000 is almost silent (but didn't have as much of an impact on temps), this N8 has more noise. It's not very loud, but it is noticeable.

Playing games I saw that my GTX 860m was 3-5 degrees C cooler (temps staying around 60-61 C) - tested playing Skyrim and D:OS.

This is a great cooler, and kept my i7 4810/GTX 860m system 5 degrees c cooler when performing a wide variety of tasks (raw file conversion, gaming, etc) which I haven't been able to do until now.

Pros: -Quiet
-Large fans
-Adjustable air flow
-3 out USB ports
-Quality build
-Fairly comfortable on lap (if your legs are under the feet)

Cons: If this is sitting on a flat surface, the intake towards the bottom of the fans is blocked. Therefore, only the top of the laptop (towards the monitor hinge) will get cooled. There is not a whole lot of airflow towards the bottom.

It's a little heavy compared to all plastic laptop coolers.

Sharp corners that I scratched myself on.

Other Thoughts: I like this cooler, however for $30 I feel there are better ones. I like the controls of this and it feels nice but like I said, it has sharp corners and the bottoms of the fans can get covered pretty easily.
