5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Item - Holding Charge OEM Product!

Pros: I chose this Lenovo ThinkPad Battery because it's OEM and has an excellent warranty. It's less expensive than buying directly from Lenovo, but it the same item. I was hesitant to purchase generic brands because you never know how long they last or if they are new or not. This item is new and so far, holding the charge. Plus, it's back by Newegg, which is a reputable company. Shipping was fast too.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: This is a genuine Lenovo battery. Most of the ones I've seen prior to this are clearly fake/knock-off units that are not fully functional (ex: they don't correctly report their level of charge). Lenovo wants about $150 for this item, Newegg Sold me mine for less than $90. great price!

Cons: High capacity battery extends slightly past back of laptop.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Battery Long life

Pros: The battery has about 7-8hour battery life depending on what apps you're using. Apps video/communication apps such as Skype & Google Hangouts drain the battery much faster therefore yeilding a 2-3.5 hour life.

I usually use the X220 Screen at 1/3 Dimmed & that usually gets me 8 hours easy.

The genuine battery is definitely worth the $$$ I bought 2 OEM batteries previously but they both failed after 6-9 months.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: The battery is great and works well when the Screen is dimmed appropriately. Again beware that CPU intensive apps such as Skype will drain this and any battery FAST
