1 out of 5 eggsOK product, maybe

Pros: The case is well built.
The keyboard placement is great.

Cons: The cutout for the screen isn't quite large enough. It impedes the ability to touch certain areas of the screen.
The keyboard itself doesn't work well. The space bar rarely works. The g key doesn't work. I've contacted hip street and I am awaiting a response.

Other Thoughts: I will update after I get a response.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case, OK keyboard

Pros: The case I got didn't have a wraparound, but instead a tongue only that wraps around and tucks into a slot. So this version is better. And my stand is only two inches wide, whereas this one is the entire width of the case. NICE change. It's protective and makes carrying wonderful. All plugs and sound ports are open. The keyboard sticks to the case with a magnet for easy removal if desired--no wires. Keyboard has a light that blinks when you turn it on, and another that shows charging status.

Cons: The Delete key fell off the keyboard the second day while typing. I snapped it back into place, but after about three weeks' of use it disappeared, so now I'm missing a key.

The keyboard is also small. I have small hands for a man, and must keep my fingers tight against each other to type. A bit award. Hen peckers will be fine, but touch typists will struggle. But it's a great step above the on-screen keyboard, but I use both. But without getting an keyboard that would no longer fit in the self-contained case, there probably couldn't be a better option.

The space bar is close enough to the edge of the case that my thumb hits the case, and I have a hard time reaching with my thumb over the case to depress the keyboard, which is at the same height as the case.

For some reason, if my case is opened and wrapped around the back, even with the keyboard removed, when I use any of the Nexus' methods of gaining access to it (entering a code, swiping across the screen, etc.), many times as soon as I finish the access process the Nexus immediately goes to sleep again. I couldn't figure out what was going on. There's a metal plate in the case to which the keyboard sticks with a magnet, and either it or the magnets cause the Nexus to go to sleep. If I leave the case open, it wakes just fine. Took me several days to figure this out.

3 out of 5 eggsI guess

Pros: It looks nice and secures tablet in without issue. Keys seperate from case if you like.

Cons: Keyboard isn't the best. It's not easy to use and the case feels overall a bit cheap.

Other Thoughts: It's not terrible for a case and the keys are useable but just bearly. I know there really isn't a lot of selection with this kind of product though unless you have an i-pad so I guess you'll have to take what you can get.
