No too sturdy
Pros: It cools my HP laptop alright - keeping the hottest components under 50 degrees centigrade. It's not too loud when new.
Cons: Not for heavy laptops. Louder after months of use.
Other Thoughts: This cooler is not for heavy laptops. Three of the blades on the right fan have broken off. I believe this is due to the weight of the laptop and my hands/wrists on the keyboard. There needs to be a little more space between the fans and the openings. The cooler is much louder six months after purchase than when new.

Notebook cooler works, but has noise issues
Pros: As far as cooling goes, it's cheap and works well. Using it on your lap dampens the noise problems encountered with tabletop usage.
Cons: The lightweight hollow plastic case and twin fan design seems to cause noise resonance problems, especially when used on a tabletop.
