This seems like it would do reasonably well to protect it too. Not just because of the way it's padded and molded, but also because there's n elastic strap in the middle that holds your notebook securely in. See cons though... Cons: Maybe this is true of all "sleeves", but there is not enough room for an AC Adapter with this product. Other Thoughts: My 11.6" notebook (DELL Inspiron iM101z-3980BK) fits great, but no room for the power cord. If you try REALLY hard, you can wrestle it in and risk tearing the zipper clean off. Seriously. If you don't need to tote your AC adapter, then you'll probably love this. Otherwise, I'd look for a different product.
