3 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: More than enough room for my 15.6" laptop, and anything else I need. Pretty comfortable to wear as well.

Cons: The material on the left strap started coming apart after only a week of use.

There are no mess zipper pockets, which U would have loved for small adapters.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat, Spacious Protection, Poor Stitching

Pros: I've used this pack for three years, and I have packed this thing to the brim. It fits not only my Asus G75VW and accessories, but two paisr of sneakers, two sets of clothes for a weekend for my wife and I, toiletries, and her 15" MacBook Pro all without a problem. It's like the Tardis: "Yes, we know, it's bigger on the inside..."
The laptop compartment is well padded, and there are numerous side pockets for other knick knacks and gadgets.
This thing has easily taken over the duties of a Kelty soft-frame hiking backpack that I used to use for weekend trips.

Cons: The single line of stitching holding the canvas webbing reinforcement on one of the shoulder straps tore/broke, just from normal wear/use. This leaves one strap with less reinforcement and it definitely feels more delicate, so I can't heft it onto my right shoulder only, I' have to use both shoulder straps for fear of the shoulder strap itself tearing. if they had just added a second line of stitching or a cross pattern of stitching to fasten that strip of canvas, it would have been fine. Also, there's not much padding or protection for the accessories pouch compartment on the very front of the bag. My Logitech gaming headset has born the brunt of that lack of protection and now the microphone portion of it doesn't work. Granted, it was a cheap headset to begin with, so I'm not terribly upset about that.
The zippers do feel like they could break or separate easily if the thing is stuffed to the limit, but they haven't broken on me yet, knock on wood.

Other Thoughts: Overall, despite the stitching, it's a great pack. I'd recommend it to anyone with a large laptop and needs extra space for clothes for a weekend trip, etc, and for the price, I'd buy it again once this one wears out.

2 out of 5 eggsToo big and doesn't last

Pros: -Lots of compartments

Cons: -It's too big. If you want to carry all sorts of junk, you'll consider this a pro. If you just want a bag that carries your laptop and don't want it like 4 inches bigger than your laptop, or you are not 6 feet 5 inches tall, this is not the bag for you. It's ridiculously big for no reason. Hard to find spots to put in the car when traveling with a lot of other belongings.

-It doesn't last. I used it a total of maybe 30 times (I only carry on special occasions - I don't even take it to school or work or anything like that daily like some poor saps probably do). The strip is coming off and the little inside compartment where you place your phone/mouse is coming off.

Other Thoughts: I do NOT recommend this unless you like to keep purchasing bags repeatedly or want a really large bag that doesn't last.

5 out of 5 eggsHUGE

Pros: Back pack is huge and it does have plenty of room for headsets, laptop coolers and of course a 17" gaming laptops. It should fit even the biggest gaming laptop out there.

Cons: Makes me look like a turtle in college.

Other Thoughts: It's a great bag its good for carrying heavy tech and it has plenty of room in the backpack that doesnt make you look like your back is 7 months pregnant

3 out of 5 eggsHuge but..

Pros: H U G E this thing is massive i love the amount of space

Cons: Main straps started to tear/fall apart after a month of use ( maybe 15-20lbs worth of books and laptop if that). side straps towards the front are torn off completely leaving only the buckles. headphone hole fell apart leaving 3 holes in the backpack for water to get in. I have not abused this bag i have only used it for school and occasional overnights and it has just started to fall apart and i havent even had it a year.

3 out of 5 eggsOK quality

Pros: Huge, plenty of space for laptop and all accessories.

Cons: Have owned for less than a year and the nylon on the straps are torn and fraying. Haven't overloaded the bag at all, just bad stitching.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat bag, weak straps

Pros: Absolutely holds everything I need it to with room to spare. Over all it is just a roomy and excellent bag. I carry a 17" laptop, extended battery, two chargers, 7" tablet, and various cables, documentation and external hard drives, and have room for a jacket when it is cooler out, and an umbrella. I have yet to completely fill it. I've even had both a 17" and 15" laptop in it at the same time when transporting one that I am working on for someone.

Cons: Tight fit under airplane seat. If you have to put this under the seat in front of you you will have little room for your feet. As other have noted after about a year my right strap began to fray and the stitching is coming loose at the top where it attaches to the bag, but the left is 100% fine. I always wear it with both straps over my shoulders, but I do usually lift it with and swing the right strap over first.

Other Thoughts: Even with the strap issues. I will buy another when this ones right strap gets too far gone.

5 out of 5 eggsHUGE!!!!!!!!

Pros: Awesome bag. It is HUGE!! Almost too big.
Holds anything i need to put in it. I've went grocery shopping with this bag on a motorcycle.
Price, Inexpensive.
Lots of compartments.
This bag is awesome by it if you need a large bag.
I usually fit a Laptop, charger, mouse , Logitech 3d pro flight stick, change of clothes, pair of shoes, lunch, quite a bit of hygienic products and some other things.

Cons: The only major con is the shoulder straps start to fray over time and becomes so bad i was afraid it was going to break while riding a motorcycle. However i usually have quiet a bit of weight in the bag and it took a few years to get to the point the bag needed to be replaced .The straps are very strong, lots of weight and they where hanging by less then 1/4 of the strap. I just bought another one to replace the old one. I tried to find a bag around the same size but none compare. I've bought like 3 bags none as big as i would like.

Other Thoughts: ***For me, the main cause of the straps fraying is when i pick the bag up off the ground. I would lift it with one strap and would pull it too abruptly. After I started being easier on the straps i was able to squeeze another year out of it. For the price of this bag it lasts a long time. If you're easy lifting it off the ground it may outlast high end bags. If you put the weight i put in this bag in more expensive they wouldn't last forever either. The bag i retired has a new home organizing the junk in my closet, works great for storage!!! I bought the bag in 2012 probably about 2 1/2 years of use. If i was easier on the bag from the beginning it would have lasted longer.

2 out of 5 eggsMixed Feelings

Pros: There is a ton of space! Fits my laptop and all of my books easily

Cons: Durability- I have only had the backpack for 2 months. Keep in mind I only use this back pack once a week for class so I have used it probably a total of 8 times. the sticking on my right strap is coming undone. I don't load my backpack very heavy and am very sad to see starting to come un-stitched so easily. I can only imagine if I where to use this everyday I would be in really back shape

Other Thoughts: I really love the backpack space and the features I just cant get past the fact that it is coming unstitched so easily.

4 out of 5 eggsBiggest 17" bag Ive found!

Pros: This bag is massive! I can fit my Alienware M17xR4 comfortably with room to spare! In fact, here is a list of things Ive managed to fit in here all at once when taking this bag out to a convention:
Two 17" laptops, Alienware M17R4 & Toshiba Satellite X205 with power their massive power bricks. A slim PS3 with HDMI and power cords, one dualshock 3 controller, a pair of Sony Studio Monitor Headphones, a Razer Nostromo, a logitech G602, a logitech M510, a Western Digital passport drive, various flash drives and networking cables. And there is STILL ROOM for more! (not much more, but could easily fit a few more gamepads or passport drives.)

Cons: I had to take off one egg because while the backpack is so big, the top handle does not feel like its attached well enough to support the massive amount of weight you can load this bag with. The top handle has a steel cable though it, but that cable should run entirely around the bottom of the backpack to give proper support.

Other Thoughts: Electronics can be heavy, while this bag is big enough to handle most everything you would want to port around, it feels that it may not last if you dont handle it with some degree of care when fully loaded. It feels solid when both back straps are used, but at full capacity, I fear one is likely not enough nor is the top handle.
