2 out of 5 eggsMixed Feelings

Pros: There is a ton of space! Fits my laptop and all of my books easily

Cons: Durability- I have only had the backpack for 2 months. Keep in mind I only use this back pack once a week for class so I have used it probably a total of 8 times. the sticking on my right strap is coming undone. I don't load my backpack very heavy and am very sad to see starting to come un-stitched so easily. I can only imagine if I where to use this everyday I would be in really back shape

Other Thoughts: I really love the backpack space and the features I just cant get past the fact that it is coming unstitched so easily.

4 out of 5 eggsBiggest 17" bag Ive found!

Pros: This bag is massive! I can fit my Alienware M17xR4 comfortably with room to spare! In fact, here is a list of things Ive managed to fit in here all at once when taking this bag out to a convention:
Two 17" laptops, Alienware M17R4 & Toshiba Satellite X205 with power their massive power bricks. A slim PS3 with HDMI and power cords, one dualshock 3 controller, a pair of Sony Studio Monitor Headphones, a Razer Nostromo, a logitech G602, a logitech M510, a Western Digital passport drive, various flash drives and networking cables. And there is STILL ROOM for more! (not much more, but could easily fit a few more gamepads or passport drives.)

Cons: I had to take off one egg because while the backpack is so big, the top handle does not feel like its attached well enough to support the massive amount of weight you can load this bag with. The top handle has a steel cable though it, but that cable should run entirely around the bottom of the backpack to give proper support.

Other Thoughts: Electronics can be heavy, while this bag is big enough to handle most everything you would want to port around, it feels that it may not last if you dont handle it with some degree of care when fully loaded. It feels solid when both back straps are used, but at full capacity, I fear one is likely not enough nor is the top handle.

4 out of 5 eggsworth it

Pros: Very roomy for 17" laptop, many pockets, plenty of room for all I need to store. Picked it up for $29.99. Happy with purchase.

Cons: Not a real con, because you get what you pay for, don't expect the best quality or the most durable of back packs. But that being said, I use mine everyday for work as a "Go bag". It's filled with my gear and tablet. It works for me.

Other Thoughts: Price to product,,,worth it. Personally I would put my laptop in a sleeve then a back pack.

5 out of 5 eggsFor every bag there is a purpose

Pros: In its design, as I see it, and as I use it...it is a compartmentalized suit case, with lots of zip pockets around the outside, which can obviously be worn on your back. I have since 2013 used it on numerous trips as my carry on. I have at times wished I had something with wheels, but you generally can't have everything in a soft bag. I really like how organized it allows me to be. I always use a smaller backpack for just around town or at my destination. The beauty of this bag is that I can bring that smaller bag inside this one if i want to forego bringing too many clothes on a given trip... Anyway, it holds a lot, I've stuffed it full, and it has lasted through multiple trips and put up with heavy weight abuse, on a limited use basis for years now, without any sort of failure and not a "fray" in sight. I recommend it for those who can hoist and carry.

Cons: I'd say the straps can be broken, but I've managed to avoid it by not jerking them around, or jerking on them as little as possible. Just holding a pretty darn heavy load on my back to and from Airports/in terminals, has not caused them to break or fray...which would be the beginning of the end, obviously.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps if I used it daily and carried heavy stuff in it on all those days, my result would be different, but for me, it sits in perfectly good condition awaiting my next trip, after Alaska, California, Colorado, Seattle, and multiples to Arizona stuffed and taking it, despite my overpacking zeal. I do over pack, and I do LOVE the Canyon. :)

Pros: Lots of space, heavy duty, great weight balance, lots of pockets

Cons: shoulder straps rip if you drop it from your shoulders to your arm to catch it. the stitching wasn't very good.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Backpack

Pros: Well constructed with very good quality. The price for the amount of room you get is dirt cheap! Rosewill does awsome products. I can fit two laptops, a change of clothes, all my cables, mouse, extras, keys, pens, and a few other small devices in it compartments. There is enough room for 2 17" laptops, and you might be able to carry 1 or 2 smaller laptops in the next compartment. Either way, the amount of stuff you can put in this, is great. I use this for weekend trips without a probelm, also holds up well for college. HOWEVER this Backpack IS HUGE!! But for the price, it is amazing.

Cons: None, Zip, Zero, Zilch.

Other Thoughts: I could use a bigger one. LOL.

4 out of 5 eggsGood capacity, decent construction

Pros: Large capacity
Many pockets
Seriously, many pockets.

Cons: Straps not very durable

Other Thoughts: I've owned this bag for 2 years now. I carry it from my house, to my car in my garage and from the parking ramp into my work building. All in all a few hundred feet a day.

I carry my ASUS ROG laptop in it with mouse and power cable in the laptop pocket. In the large pocket is usually my 24oz water bottle and my lunch bag. The side pocket has my Nintendo DS with charge cable. The smaller pouch directly in front of the large pocket has one or two DS games. The smallest pocket on the front carries a variety of med bottles (antacids, tylenol, Claratin, etc) and my Kindle.

After the first few months I noticed the smaller, gray, weaved straps at the top of the shoulder straps were starting to fray. About a year and a couple months later, the right should strap's gray weaved strap came completely off from the top and now just dangles freely. A few months ago, the stitching on the shoulder straps started coming out. I can now slip my hand between the various pieces of fabric making up the shoulder straps.

For a $50 laptop bag and the weight it carried on a daily basis (albeit not very far), it's held up decently for two years. Now, though, I'm getting apprehensive about carrying my laptop around in it for fear the straps are going to snap off at any time.

As a side note, a friend bought this same bag around the same time I did and his has held up extremely well with no signs of fraying. He does admit he doesn't use it all that often, though.

It's a good bag that you can get a couple years of use out of. If you're not going to use it everyday, I'd recommend it. If you need to carry your laptop around every day and/or with longer distances than I have, I'd point you in the direction of a sturdier bag.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: I couldnt find a bag in my house that fit my ASUS ROG gaming laptop. This thing fits it, my school books, notebooks, chargers, headphones, mouse, and anything else I need to bring with me. This bag is great and wasn't that expensive glad I ordered it!

Cons: None so far.

1 out of 5 eggs2nd of these and falling apart

Pros: Large

Cons: Very weak construction. I bought this in May and within 3 months a strap had torn almost off with light use. I RMA and got another in late Aug and by late Nov both straps are fraying with light use. I only have my laptop, the power supply, a few Ethernet cables, a couple of screwdrivers, and sometimes a light book in it and this pack can not manage that light load

Other Thoughts: Second time already with this pack, save your $$$ a bit longer and get an Oakley or Swiss
