Pros: Really like the cooling effect, according to Speccy and CPUID I am running cooler thus improving performance. Lighting is cool as well and this keeps from having a hot laptop on my legs or bed. It allows me to walk away and not worry about the core temp.

Cons: At first you have to get used to having something there but then you get quicker response on webpage and don't notice it at all.

Other Thoughts: Definitely outperformed Targus cooler from past....fits my big 17.3 Toshiba and keeps the core cooler.

Pros: Large. Quiet. Cool. If I do not use the fan, my laptop heats up pretty quick. I can keep it on all day with the Thermaltake, and it does not get hot.

Cons: Cable provided does not stay put in my laptop's usb.

Other Thoughts: Good product for the price.

Other Thoughts: I definitely recommend this cooler. After the purchase of a new 17 inch laptop, I was gifted a Targus AWE 5504 cooler. After a few hours, I had a very bad reaction due to the neoprene that covers the unit. I was researching on New Egg and found this gem. It is so quiet, I think the fan was included as a visual reminder that it is on. Love it so much, I just bought another to give to my roommate to replace the lone neoprene covered cooler in the house. Great product, you won't be disappointed.

Pros: Nice design both in form and function. The fan is so quiet you won't believe it and provides good airflow though it is deceiving due to it's silence. It is one massive fan though.

The cooler itself is quite light and comfortable on the lap. Has a nice blue night and it perfectly fits my XPS 17.

Cons: None, but there are a few thoughts below.

Other Thoughts: I think that for the price point this is pretty spot on. It replaced a much heavier unit that had a fan about half the size and provided no benefit. While it moves sufficient air it's not a perfect match for the XPS 17 due to the location of the intake ports on the bottom. That said it does lower the temps about 8c on the processor, 15c on the gpu and roughly 15 on the mobo. Had the intake for the cpu been in a more central location like the others I suspect it'd cool more efficiently.

The lighting on the cooler provides a nice glow but it torments my dog. The pattern it casts on the walls provides the unexpected annoyance of it whining and jumping into the air near the glow, heh.

Overall this is a stand up product that cools adequately and is silent as a tomb. Quite satisfied.

Pros: It's *QUIET* when it's running. Appearance-wise, it's a cool looking cooler and fits my 15.6 laptop perfectly. Handles on the side are useful for moving the laptop and the cooler together. Sent in the rebate 10 days ago and today I got an email saying they received my submission.

Cons: Air. This thing needs to move more air considering the size of its fan. You can feel a slight breeze on the side of the cooler but little or hardly enough blowing on the surface to cool the laptop. I have a coolermaster x-slim with a 160mm fan that blows more air than this.

Other Thoughts: I wonder if this can be hacked to move the fan faster?

Pros: Awesome, does what is supposed to do. Quite!

Cons: Can't tell if the fan is one if laptop is on top. It be better if LED would turn on on same switch as fan. that way you know if fan is on or off.

Pros: Very high performance cooler, Black metal grill fan size huge it covers whole my laptop ,my laptop size is 18.4 inch its perfect fit woow . i like this cooler i would recomend everyone to buy this cooler from newegg.ca good price too.

Pros: Fits my 17 inch HP very well. Looks cool and design is ergonomical. Price was a little more than Tiger Direct, but Newegg had a free shipping promotion. I will come back and update about longevity.
