The dedicated laptop compartment is both felt-lined and well-padded to provide the utmost protection for your laptop from bumps and scratches. Interior is soft and well padded. Cons: Had bag replaced once under warranty because handles ripped off of the first bag. Handles are again ripping off the second bag. I needed a bag that was big enough for my laptop and accessories and that was durable and able to stand up to abuse, and most importantly one which was water resistant. This Everki bag exceeds all expectations. Got it 1/3 off, which was great. Thanks for that newegg! Cons: Price. Even at $100, this was a pricey laptop case. Believe me, what ever bag you might have had for your old laptop, your 18.4 screen laptop won't fit it in. Plenty of nooks and crannies for all the toys you want to carry around. Surprisingly light weight and well built. Cons: If I'd been able to find an appropriate bag at any local retail store, I wouldn't have had to pay this price. Other Thoughts: I should have bought this when I bought the Acer laptop and saved the additional $40.
