1 out of 5 eggsVery hard to type

Pros: Its a keyboard and trackpad

Cons: When typing, my wrist always hits the track pad. I had to throw this away - just can't use it. No matter how careful I am, my wrist hits the trackpad and the cursor goes somewhere else. Probably just too small for both the pad and keyboard. Giving it one egg - because I have to. 0 eggs would be more appropriate.

Other Thoughts: These things are a fad anyway. Just buy a real laptop. Use your phone for android stuff.

1 out of 5 eggsKeyboard Dock won't charge

Pros: I owned a TF101 long time ago but really want a keyboard dock to "complete" the item. I was actually a bit hesitant about buying this from the beginning.

Cons: I can use the keyboard to type but the keyboard dock just won't charge at all. I believe the keyboard is using the battery/power from the TF101? Quite disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat addition to ASUS transformer

Pros: It's much more than a keyboard....
- a battery (yes, it will charge the main tablet)
- 2 USB ports (e.g., mouse, external USB drive, etc.)
- trackpad
- SD card plugin (e.g., camera digital cards)
- several dedicated function keys
- when closed, it provides excellent carrying protection for the screen

Cons: None, it does what it says, and very well!

Other Thoughts: Amazing what Apple didn't think of.....

4 out of 5 eggsIt works well

Pros: Its a fully functioning keyboard with sturdy buttons.
Fits the Asus Tf101 perfectly.
Has extra memory card slot, usb slots and charger dock.
Adds battery life to tablet

Cons: a little sensitive on certain features

Other Thoughts: I like this keyboard. It's small and sturdy which I like and the buttons do not feel flimsy. It may be a little heavy and sometimes the buttons are a little sensitive ( the touchpad) but then again I am a heavy handed person. I like the keyboard very much and it took some time to adjust to the small keyboard. Overall not a bad product.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware of refurbished

Pros: Item comes like new and fit perfectly to TF101.
Price is good.

Cons: Refurbished item is "hit-and-miss".
The one I received comes with one key doesn't work and I have to pay shipping for replacement.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic Dock / Keyboard

Pros: The keyboard/docking station provided an enormous extension to the battery life of my girlfriends TF101. I purchased the keyboard/dock so she could use the tablet as a laptop in school, and it does a great job.

Cons: There is a very small amount of play noticeable when opening or closing like a laptop when docked in the keyboard/dock. It hasn't yet gotten any looser, so I'm hoping this doesn't lead to a failure point in the future.

Other Thoughts: The only reason I removed an egg is for the nominal bit of looseness when opening/closing when the tablet is connected to the keyboard/dock. Other than that, this is money well spent.

4 out of 5 eggsFlawless Operation

Pros: Instantly turns my Asus Tablet into a netbook without having to reboot, load drivers. There is absolutely no learning curve required to use this keyboard.
Has shortcut keys for Android functions.
Adds hours to batttery operation while also adding 2 usb ports, card slot for additional memory or transfer of data which is fantastic.
Allows tablet to be protected by becoming a hard shelled case when closed.
Feels quite sturdy ... no bend to worry about.

Cons: Keys take some adjustment as the keyboard is obviously smaller than full size keyboard,
Backlit keys would make it much easier to adjust to keyboard layout.
90 day warranty without option to buy additional 1 or 2 years.
Would have given 5 stars if that was offered.

Other Thoughts: I was hesitant to buy this but wanted the keyboard to round out my Tablet. I'm of the mind (mostly) if electronics work out of the box then everything should be ok. So far so good. I was a little disappointed with shipping because the product was in California (I'm in Canada) and it was over the Christmas/New Year Holidays which added days with no delivery. Wasn't Newegg's fault, just bad timing. There was no additional customs excise tax as i thought there might be. Would buy again from without hesitation.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Product - BAD Newegg

Pros: I love my keyboard. Easy to use. Mobile. Extra battery. I use it for everything. With this keyboard, my productivity went through the roof. So, when my fiancee spilled water on it and wanted to buy me a replacement, I suggested Newegg to buy a new one. It's cheaper elsewhere, but they've been great so far and gained our loyalty.

Cons: This time things were not great. First, the shipping was much slower than it had been in the past, but thats fine. I can deal with that. Then the product was defective. They wanted us to pay to ship it back. It's confusing that I should be punished because I got a defective product. They agreed and shipped it free. Good on them. But now things get bad. Ten business days after confirming they got the package I finally called them to find out what's up. They dont have the product and are waiting for it to get in stock, even though their policy explicitly says that if the product isnt in stock they'll refund. Now I have to wait another 5 business days until they ship it or give a refund. And, of course they'll only ship standard, no fast delivery for my trouble. Thats 3 full weeks from when they received the defective product! 2 weeks longer than their "policy" that conveniently couldn't return my money today. I've already missed out on a lot of work I could have done. Some products are defective, i get that. But the least a business can do is try to take care of loyal customers.

Other Thoughts: It'll be a long time before I think about ordering from Newegg again. Too bad. I was just about to upgrade my editing studio. I guess someone else can have my business.

5 out of 5 eggsdocking station completes the Asus EEE table

Pros: Very well made item, integrates perfectly with my ASUS TFT 101-A tablet. Added battery life, full keyboard with Android function keys, two new USB ports, added SD card slot....just check the product description.

Cons: I don't think it will work with other ASUS Transformer tablets. It's made of sturdy metal construction, so some people might find it a bit heavy compared to the current generation of very light ultrabooks. No ethernet port on the docking station, but you can buy a usb-to-ethernet adapter online for under $10.

Other Thoughts: I'm glad I bought this for $65.99 (with free shipping) because it seems to have been discontinued. Hooking it up to the tablet really changes the 1st Generation ASUS EEE Transformer into a netbook....complete with trackpad and keyboard. The touchscreen feature still works, it isn't disabled by the docking station. Beautifully built, probably the highest build quality I've seen in awhile. It was too expensive for my blood when I got the tablet initially, but buying it at this price was a no-brainer. Re-furbished but in brand-new condition....
