5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

Pros: If you are buying this then either you already have the tablet and you're a happy camper, or you're buying them together and you're gonna be a happy camper. The battery life on the tablet is awesome to begin with, add this keyboard dock and you're gonna be using the tablet for days on a charge. I usually use my tablet a couple of hours every day during school and charge it once or twice a week overnight to get a good full charge.

The keyboard is obviously smaller then a standard qwerty keyboard, but that is to be expected. it's packed with features and function buttons. Overall this is a very useful accessory, especially if you want to use the tablet in a more professional setting (or if you're gonna do a lot of typing)

Cons: The only con I have is that on the keyboard dock, there is a little red led near the charging port that flashes once every couple of seconds. i've noticed it flashing at 75% charge and under. I can't figure out what the heck the light means. If its low battery, it shouldn't be on at 75%!! Well its a minor nuisance and doesn't make this dock any less useful.

1 out of 5 eggsAnnoyed but hopefull

Pros: Light weight and fits snuggly with the tablet.

Cons: It charged correctly, or that is, the indicator light changed indicating that it was charging. But would not link up with the tablet at all, not even that it was seated in it. My friend has the same model and his works fine on my tablet, but this one is a dud.

Other Thoughts: Got an RMA pretty fast. Annoying that I have to pay to ship back an item that arrived not working. Other than seeming to charge, it was DOA. We'll see how fast they send me the replacment and hopefully it works. May change rating after that...

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a Dock!

Pros: Does as advertised and as designed to do. Greatly increases the versatility of my TF300T tab. USB port works great and the SD card slot is great for expanded storage. Expanded battery/use time is also nice.

Cons: No cons so far. I works and does as expected.

Other Thoughts: Grabbed this dock for my champagne colored tab. The "blue" is a fairly dark in color, almost a dark navy. Doesn't look out of place and goes well together. Got this on sale here on newegg. Was a great price for a great Transformer Tab accessory.

1 out of 5 eggsWhere is my tablet?

Pros: The docking station arrived when expected. However the tablet that goes with it and was ordered at the same time has not yet arrived, so I'm not sure how I like the docking station. It looks nice.

Cons: Do not have tablet to use with the station.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: Extends the battery and give you the USB and the SD port as well. Can't go wrong with this.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Well I really like this docking station I just wish I would have waited one more day to buy it. I bought one from newegg on the 2nd of this month for $127.99 and the next day they dropped the price to $89.99. Makes me want to RMA the docking station back and buy another one while I wait on my RMA to finish.

1 out of 5 eggsASUS Pad Docking Station

Pros: None

Cons: Battery won't charge, can't use USB or SD Card slots. Battery charged exactly one time, now refuses to charge. It's overpriced. Manufacturer is very difficult to deal with.

Other Thoughts: Wish I'd saved my money. If this worked as advertised or if the manufacturer was willing to provide a new unit it might be worth it. It lasted about 1 day.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

I apologize for the issues that you are having with your docking station. If the device is under 30 days, please contact the original reseller for an exchange on the device. Unfortunately, we cannot exchange anything if the device is still within the reseller’s return policy. If you are outside of the return window, we can service and fix the dock for you. If the repair route is the one that you want to take, please e-mail me at cl-tien@asus.com. I’ll be happy to help set it up for you so that you don’t have to call the customer support hotline.

Best Regards,

Tien

2 out of 5 eggsAfter 2 weeks, will no longer charge

Pros: Pretty cool! Definitely nice having the USB port.

Cons: The battery will no longer charge. I am going to try one RMA to see if it was just defective, but that's not a good sign. Also, the touch pad is way to sensitive. I end up turning it off because my tumb constantly hits it. It is annoying, but this is not a work computer, so I will deal.

Other Thoughts: People are glowing over this thing- I think it is not THAT great. It gives marginally more utility, but the battery problem is unacceptable.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

I apologize for the issues that you are having with your new docking station. I believe you had a defective battery on your dock, and I am confident that the RMA will be able to replace the battery for you. If you get the dock back from RMA, and you still encounter problems, please e-mail me and let me know. I can be reached at cl-tien@asus.com. I’ll be happy to assist you in any way that I can.

Best Regards,

Tien

4 out of 5 eggsDocking Station for Asus TF300T

Pros: Keyboard itself is relatively easy and compact and gives the same great feel as any other laptop keyboard, I do like the added hand(palm) rest on each corner of the keyboard and was surprised of the quality too, I thought perhaps it would be flimsy and not offer a secure base, but it's the exact opposite, keys are easy to type on and a pleasure. I would refer and use this product again.

Cons: Once again instructions, instructions, they are so important to have especially if your an average experienced user, it would have been nice to have a step by step visual and written instructions. I tried for a few minutes after reading the brief little instructions but was unable to connect the keyboard, so luckily I have a 23 yr old son who also had to go online to see exactly how to open and connect the tablet, other than that the product is great.

5 out of 5 eggsLaptops are doomed !

Pros: Laptop killer! The combination of touch screen & the ease of a keyboard, ppppft! You'll want to shoot your laptop in the face next time you're using it and you touch the screen thinking you're on your laptop, lol!

Cons: Make sure you order combo deal, and NEWEGG has fixed their product page, thanks new egg for that! Cons?! We don't need no stinking cons. There's no cons with this product, well, it doesn't make bacon, that might be a con.

Other Thoughts: Keyboard holds 64GB CL10 SD card, tablet holds 64GB CL 10 micro SD card, plus the 64GB internal tablet memory, ha! that's 192 GB, on a tablet ! NewEgg and ASUS rock !

4 out of 5 eggsOnly one minor issue I have with this thing

Pros: It extends the battery life, which is a nice feature, adds a USB port and SD card slot, the keys function nicely, and some might like that it adds a touchpad.

Cons: The only thing I find irritating about this product is that there is no layout option for Dvorak, which makes typing on it an irritatingly slower process than I'm used to.
