Despite that, I turned it back on and it has worked most of the times since then, even though I always receive the message when I plug it into my computer. Pros: Arrived on time Cons: I ordered this product four days ago, and while it came on time and arrived this afternoon, I've only had it ten minutes and it already does not work. About five minutes after I turned my computer on with this AC adapter, my computer politely flashed me a message that my laptop (a Dell Inspiron 1545) does not recognize the device and, therefore, will not charge my battery. My computer then proceeded to turn off ten minutes later, despite the fact that the light on the adapter is on, and despite the fact that this website clearly states that this adapter is compatible with the Inspiron 1545. I now have to return the AC adapter three days before I leave for college, leaving me unable to use my laptop for who knows how long. Other Thoughts: Unimpressed--will not order from this site again.
