5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cooler, Though only after modifying it.

Pros: Large Fan, Good cooling potential. It's more portable than a Coolermaster NotePal X3 and even the X2 I had for a year. It doesn't push as much air as the X3, but you can tell that in the description. It folds up quite well.

Picked it up because I wanted something more portable than the NotePal X3. Thermaltake makes great products, and this is one of them.

Cons: I didn't pull off an egg for this for a reason, but it's uncomfortable on your lap when extended. Now, the reason I didn't dock an egg was because it's easily remedied. Low-gritt sand paper, or a nail file, and smooth the corners.

I have a smaller laptop for my gaming/daily use. Honestly, I don't really think that this stand is all that great for larger laptops due to its size. However, I knew that going into this, and it doesn't bother me enough to take an egg.

The flip-up holders extend way beyond where they need to. This causes it to be uncomfortable on your wrists (Two small tabs. Probably meant to accomidate larger laptops). Use a small hand-saw to cut them off, and a nail-file to smooth it out. Problem solved.

Other Thoughts: Overall, It pushes a lot of air across the entire underside of my laptop. Which is what I wanted it for, my laptop isn't that huge.

With some minor modifications, which literally took 10 minutes of my time, any cons to this cooler can be fixed. The bottom of the stand is made of a kinda cheap plastic but is sufficient for what it does.

I'm fairly certain I voided my warranty for it because of the modifications. Or at least can't return it, but oh well. Its comfortable, it works, and that's why I got it.

If you have a large laptop, I don't think this is the cooler for you though. They say it supports up to a 17", but my 15" laptop hangs off the sides.

5 out of 5 eggsHeat? Not anymore!

Pros: I own an MSI 1727 gaming laptop, that runs an Intel Core i7 940xm, and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 graphics card, this thing runs very hot under load when playing a game. After plugging in this pad and letting it run for a bit, there has been a huge different of around 7 degrees Celcius, may not seem like much, but when your hitting temperatures around 90 under load, bringing that down to 80-83 is a very big difference.

Cons: The rubber grips on the pad are a little too slick for my taste, they don't really hold the laptop in place very well. See other thoughts for more.

Other Thoughts: My laptop does not have any form of rubber grips on the bottom, they have come off over time, so if your laptop has them, you might fare better.
