Provides some cooling. Cons: Does not work with smaller laptops. It is just too high a device and a small laptop (e.g. my HP Ultrabook) just slides off it. Since the laptop rests on this device at the back end of the laptop, the fans will only provide cooling to the 3" of the laptop on the back. This may not be the best place for the cooling. Other Thoughts: This device is an attempt to merge a laptop cooler with a desktop extender and fails to do either well. Did you find this review helpful? Pros: Sturdy, aluminum device with a lot of USB ports and an Ethernet port. Provides some cooling.

Cons: Does not work with smaller laptops. It is just too high a device and a small laptop (e.g. my HP Ultrabook) just slides off it. Since the laptop rests on this device at the back end of the laptop, the fans will only provide cooling to the 3" of the laptop on the back. This may not be the best place for the cooling.

Other Thoughts: This device is an attempt to merge a laptop cooler with a desktop extender and fails to do either well.
