Pros: Easily replaced original macbook battery that failed after 7 years, The battery did work well for about 1 year, with a typical battery life (for this model) of about 2 hours under average use.

Cons: Originally fit well in battery slot, but now part of battery cover is slightly raised so computer will wobble when on a flat surface. Charge lasts less than an hour with computer under minimal use and about 30 minutes under average to heavy use. I have about 260 cycle count now and my battery condition states "service battery," so I guess this is the end of the road for this battery. I would not purchase again nor would I recommend this battery to any other purchasers.

Pros: Worked great for about 4 months, then didn't charge for 2 months, then great for another month.

Cons: Periodically never charged, and I never set aside time to try and get it replaced. Now, about a year and a half later, it no longer charges. Didn't sit exactly in the slot, but not horrendously off.

Other Thoughts: NEVER EVER EVER let this battery or any other laptop battery stay depleted for an extended period of time. Always make sure you charge it again within a week, 8-10 days max.

Pros: Fits, nothing weird going on, fits and sits flush like it should, plastic is probably a bit different from the original, but I don't use my laptop by staring at the bottom of it. The rubber foot is going to be different from the other 3 on the bottom, but I really couldn't care less.

Charges, goes up to 100% charge no problem

Powers my laptop, it lasts for a decent 2 hours minimum with wifi on and word-processor/web browsing with screen at 50% brightness.

Way cheaper than the original Apple battery.

Cons: Wonky things with the battery meter in OSX. Sometimes it will say no battery installed even though there very clearly is a battery installed and the battery is powering the laptop.

Also, there will be no low-battery warning. The computer will just power off once the battery gets down to ~10%.

Can't think of anything other than that to moan about.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if there was a high cap version, but I have a feeling the capacity is limited by the size.

Cons: worked for 3 months and now is completely dead. Computer shuts off instantly when the power cord is removed. OSX lion is telling me the battery needs to be serviced.

Pros: Works, brought my dead laptop back to life

Cons: Doesn't really fit properly, kinda hangs out/off the computer

Pros: Fast shipping; arrived almost completely charged.

Cons: The battery finished charging just fine, but my laptop instantly shut down when I removed the power cord. The battery would not power my macbook AT ALL. The system profiler claimed that there was not even a battery connected.

I checked and double-checked: my original macbook battery is the A1185 model, which this battery says it will replace. I am very disappointed.

Other Thoughts: The general specs says that this battery is 10.8 V, 5400 mAh (which matches the apple battery). The Lenmar battery itself is labeled 11.1 V and 5500 mAh.

Pros: I am very pleased with this product. I ordered it for my daughter's Macbook after reading the reviews on other cheaper batteries stating they did not hold charge or fit properly. This one fit perfectly and holds a charge like the original.

Cons: Even though I did not pay as much for this as I would have the original, I still believe the price is a bit much for a battery.

Other Thoughts: The old adage you get what you pay for applies. I would recommend this over the cheaper batteries as well as the more expensive Apple battery.
