Antec Notebook Cooler Stand Model NOTEBOOK COOLER STAND

Pros: looks nice, solid build (the base itself)

Cons: noisy fan (bearings off), part scuffed

Other Thoughts: These are the risks of buying online i suppose. Not sure if the noisy fan and scuffed tab (the little adjustable one) are manufacturing defects, shipping issues or that I received a previously returned item. Regardless, return shipping costs and restocking fees make the prospect of returning this unpleasant.

Pros: Very quite.
But i use this cooler for my Router cooler.
Cooling my router so good.

Cons: Can't use this model with my HP G7.
But my ASAU router set top of it so lovely now.

Other Thoughts: Keep my router temp cool.
Good working unit.

Pros: Very well built from one solid piece of aluminum. Easy to route cables through. Puts keyboard at a nice angle for typing. Fits my laptop in it with the lid closed since thats how it's used most(htpc).

Cons: Really cant complain about anything. If i had a complaint it's that the surface is a bit slick and nothing sticks to it(ie: double face tape for mounting usb hubs to it).

Other Thoughts: Would buy another!

Pros: It take 10days to replace my RMA from newegg.com
take out the sat and sun it will be 8days.

However replaced item is working great.

Pros: This is a nice, simple design. I especially like the fact that you can slide your wireless keyboard in under the computer. The stand elevates your laptop's screen closer to eye level, while at the same time freeing up a little desk space.

Cons: The specs state that this stand is for laptops up to 15". However, it does not accommodate my 15" laptop properly.
I use a Thinkpad T60p 15.0" (not widescreen) with a 9-cell battery that protrudes out the back about a 3/4 inch. When I set the computer on the stand with the screen open, it would tip back, as the center of gravity fell just behind the back edge of the stand. There is an adjustable tab at the front of the stand to hold the front of the computer, but it can't be adjusted far enough down to hold the computer securely; besides, on my Thinkpad the right-click button ends up under this tab, where the tab might keep it pressed.

Because I like this stand otherwise, I modified the front hold-down tab with a thin piece of wood. Now it holds the computer nicely and does not press the right-click button. Incidentally, I also added some wooden wedges to the bottom to incline the stand another inch in the back.

Other Thoughts: My computer runs fairly cool, so I usually don't even use the fan. Therefore I have no comment on the fan.

I am unsure whether to give this product two eggs or three. Really, I'd give it four eggs if it weren't that it is claimed to be for 15" computers. And it probably will work with most 15" laptops, particularly widescreens. For your reference, my laptop is just over 10 inches front-to-back, plus the extra 3/4 inch of battery out the back.

Pros: All my 4 package deliverd on my office yesterday.

Love this moment of unbox.

However rest of all units are working good exp. cooler.

Very first moment i love the look and design but when i plug usb to notebook fan start making a noise.

hmmm.. i contact newegg.com and Actec they said replace the cooler it is a fan fail.

Therefore my first attemt Antec cooler is fail for me.

i will repost my review after replace item get here.

Pros: my 6years old notebook is out of condition.
but i use this notebook for 24hours download hardware.
I use to have floor type cooling pad but i have to deal with dust after few days later...

but this stand type cooling pad is some thing new.

it will dusty after wild but not like floor type.

very nice to have one.

Pros: Elegant, stable, quiet, unobtrusive, ergonomic, & bound to protect your fragile laptop HD from overheating.

Cons: Stand shakes some with vigorous typing; this is easily remedied by placing stand atop another secure box, something you ought do anyway to ensure proper screen height.

Other Thoughts: A simple & inexpensive way to upgrade your workspace. Elevating the screen closer to eye level has profound benefits to neck & shoulder comfort and the oft ill-ventilated laptop similarly benefits from the USB fan, which is near-silent.

Pros: Excellent build construction, forged from one piece of aluminum, goes well with my MacBook Pro

Cons: Fan speed not as powerful as I had hoped, but definitely not a deal killer.

Pros: The ergonomic positioning is great, and the stand is lightweight, but sturdy enough where you feel secure using your laptop while its on the stand. Super quiet fan, uses usb power.

Cons: The unit can shake a little bit when typing, but that is to be expected with the bent metal construction that is implemented.
