Pros: It has the usb hub on the side which is awesome
has grooves for the wires so it's not a mess
fans do their job at adjustable speeds, as advertised
LED's to make you look fancy

Cons: well one morning i plugged it in, wanting to use my computer, and whaddya know, the fans didn't turn on, or work, at all. When the usb hub was plugged in the LED's lit up but that's all that it could muster. I only had it for a single week, and I probably used it only a few times. Sucks that I threw the box away, or I would have replaced it. New computer antics, I tell ya.

Other Thoughts: I think I'll give it another shot, considering that the one I got could've just been faulty, and the few times I did use it, it did it's job, But if It happens again, i'm out.

Pros: Fits my Toshiba Qosmio X505 perfectly, love the double 140mm fans too. Keeps my laptop cool at medium fan speed.

Cons: Can get a rattle from time to time from fans.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to anyone with a large gaming laptop

Pros: Two big fans are great.

Cons: I had the loud vibration as well. maybe a fan defect, but i worked around it without sending it back.

also expected it to be a little heavier and a bit bigger.

Other Thoughts: When i got it i loved it at first. fans ran great with no vibrations, except when it was on my bed. but as soon as i got my laptop on it the loud vibrations took over. I think i was just unlucky in getting one that had this defect, if i sent it back and got one that didn't do this I'd totally have 5 stars. I don't send things back though. I pulled the aluminum mesh off because i thought that was the root of the rattling. It seems to be the fans which makes me happier because I can replace then down the road anyway. I stuffed something behind the fans something that would absorb the vibration and it works up until 80% and higher. Ill still max it out and turn up my volume at times. I also left the mesh off because with it off air flow is ridiculous! On a laptop, playing tomb raider max settings, v-sync off and something else turned down a notch to improve fps, 3 cores hit max temp under 60 C with one core maxing out at 62 with 3 hours of game play.. And that's without laptop fans in turbo mode. My battery was out to help drop a few degrees too but I'd regularly max out at 72 c with my turbo fan mode on before.

Pros: Air flow is the best I've experienced in a laptop cooler so far. 4 USB ports let me plug in my USB 2.0 devices like my Bluetooth adapter and keyboard and mouse while saving my 3.0 for data transfers. Feels very durable and well built. Love the color options. Oh and the option to upgrade/change fans.

Cons: Having another device to plug into a wall/power strip doesn't make me the happiest but I understand the need.

Other Thoughts: Not getting the rattling like I have read some reviews explain. Overall pretty nice unit. Is a bit noisy at half speed and up but it is not deafening, this is meant for gamers so if you're having problems with a non gaming laptop I recommend the Notepal U3 which did great for an older laptop I had that was BSOD every time it heated up a little. Overall first impression is 5 eggs for me, has exceeded my expectations. Will post again if I run into any other problems but if you see nothing from me you know all is good.

Pros: It is a well built cooling pad. Strong and sturdy. I would recommend it. My i7 820QM with a NVIDIA 250M GTS was running at between 176 to 183 F when gaming or running an intel CPU test. (I upgraded laptop from it's original i7 720 QM) My test average from multiple test results running the Intel CPU tester were: Without the cooling pad 178, 180, 176, 178 and with the cooling pad on full speed 174, 176, 174, 174. The cooling pad offers about a 4 to 5 degree F cooling Not much but better than nothing.

Cons: The stock fans set up a resonance when higher than 1/2 speed and are very loud. I replaced them with two blue led Aero Cool Shark fans with 96.5 cfm, 15 blade vs the 7 on the stock fans. These fans appear to push the same amount of air as the stock ones, do not make as much noise and do not set up an annoying resonant pulsating sound.
These fans provided exactly the same 4 to 5 degree F cooling that the stock loud fans did.

Other Thoughts: When using a gaming laptop the cooler you can keep it the longer the components will last. The i7 first generation CPU's are work horses and very fast. They get hot. The cooler pad is worth the investment. Besides, it looks cool with the red, blue, green or yellow side lights and now with my new fans the blue led fans!

Pros: Has kept my laptop Core Temps within very nice levels and the extra 4 USB ports are a great plus. Love the ability to micro-adjust the fan speeds! LED Lights are a nice extra touch.

Cons: At high fan speeds the pad will vibrate so definitely use on a flat and well grounded surface to minimize vibration echo.

Other Thoughts: Very happy with this purchase and feel that I have gotten my money's worth. Performs exactly as advertised.

Pros: Sturdy, USB ports useful

Cons: Sits nearly flush against flat surfaces, no air can get under the bottom, poorly designed

Pros: Duel 240mm Fans make this thing keep my giant 18.6 inch laptop cool. Build quality is very nice and the fans are quiet even at the highest setting. I am really happy with my purchase and I will update my review in about 2 months after it has been used.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: Solid Unit...Quiet...Moves a lot of air, 2-140mm fans. 110 volt power A/C.

Cons: Everything, makes really loud wub wub wub sound constantly. Mesh rattles, so annoying

it doesnt even cool my laptop on the highest fan speed more than maybe 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit
