Look for a local source or battery from Gateway. Cons: Don't purchase this battery as it will not properly charge or maintain charge for Gateway NV52 model laptop. The laptop BIOS will not let the computer charge the battery and it will inform the owner that attempting to charge or use with the incompatible battery will either damage the battery or the laptop. Misleading compatibility ad says about it matching AS09A71 isn't not right and should be changed to say so. Other Thoughts: Anyone deciding to purchase this battery for Gateway NV52 series is best to stay away from this product. I did a exact model battery match for my gateway and this is the unit that came up as a match but it is definitely not a match by any stretch. So your best option will be to go with a local seller that will not charge you restocking fee if the battery will not work. My advice would either order through Gateway or another local source that you can return if the battery doesn't work for a full refund. 2 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you?
