1 out of 5 eggsNot a universal as it says

Pros: Arrived very promptly; within one day of ordering

Cons: While the ad says this will fit all 1000 series Eee pc netbooks, it did not fit ours.

1 out of 5 eggsPackage Illustrations dont match contents

Pros: Works.

Cons: The package illustrates a 3-prong plug with grounding to the electrical outlet. The actual contents are a 2-prong wire. I purchased this as a 12-volt power supply and intended on splicing the 3-prong cord to get the ground for a separate piece of metalic equipment... a bit of a disappointment to find the discrepancy between the acutal package contents and the illustrations on the box.

1 out of 5 eggsSemi-DOA

Pros: It operates on 2 prong plug, doesn't explode my computer.

Cons: Charges intermittently: I needed to wiggle the cord from the laptop where it enters the power brick to get it to charge.

It also gets somewhat hot, although every charger I've had for this laptop has

Other Thoughts: Put me in the unfortunate situation of trying to decide if its worth 11 bucks to rma an item that costs 12.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: A basic part, yes, but it's a good deal and was shipped fast and has always worked flawlessly. I bought it as a replacement after the adapter that came with the notebook exploded.

3 out of 5 eggsOnly fits some models

Pros: Very reasonable price. Works great with Asus EeePc 900SD. Small size, nice package.

Cons: Just bought a second one for a Asus EeePc 1015PEM, DOES NOT FIT. The description is pretty vauge regarding exactly what netbook this works with. I wrongly assumed this would work with any 1000-series EeePc.

Other Thoughts: Sparkle should make their description more clear. The outside of the box simply states "Compatible with Asus EeePc" Save yourself a headache and check the plug tip diameter before you order.

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work with 1001p

Pros: I don't know because I couldn't try it.

Cons: The description says it works with Asus 1000 series but it clearly doesn't work with the 1001p model. The tip is too big.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect replacement!

Pros: Hasn't failed in three months
Have gone through TWO genuine Asus power adapters, both failing

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you get an Eee PC, get one of these too and toss out the stock one. They SUCK!
