Other Thoughts: Don't buy the cheap after market power cords, you will end up buying this one anyway. It's worth the extra money ($20-30). The power cords wear out over time but the cheap after market ones wear out much much faster.

Pros: When it was new, the device worked flawlessly

Cons: Breaks around the PC connector. It's a shame that the expensive part of this power supply doesn't detach from it, the AC prongs are very unlikely to suffer all the wear and tear.

Pros: Not many except does a good job of charging when it's working

Cons: These go bad as others have said. I take care of my stuff and special care of this cord but it will fray near the connector like so many others have said, this is very frustrating, you better not just have one because it will go bad on you and you will have no way to charge your computer.

Pros: When it isn't broken, adequately powers and charges Thinkpad

Cons: These die after a while. The gray strain relief stops working, and the cable inside it starts to fray. Eventually your cable will make intermittent contact, and finally make none at all, leave it up to you to fix it somehow or shell out for a new one.

Other Thoughts: I treat all my electronics with care. After my second AC adapter died, I tried to treat my third one with a lot of care. I made sure that, whenever possible, the gray area wasn't pinched or bent, etc. It lasted only a few months longer than the others.

Pros: What can I say? It works with my T60p and NewEgg shipped it out quickly.

Cons: Temperature: the transformer runs not warm but hot to the touch. This is not a huge deal given that it will generally be left on the floor, but the temperature difference between this Lenovo-branded adapter and the IBM branded adapter that originally came with my T60p Thinkpad is significant.

Other Thoughts: I got this on sale for $50 here which I personally think is too much for a power adapter, but the average price seems to be closer to $60-70 elsewhere.

Pros: It works, much cheaper than at the manufacturer website.

Cons: Spending this much money on a AC adapter breaks my heart but not really a con.

Other Thoughts: I just needed an adapter to use my laptop and since the manufacturer website was charge almost double, I found Newegg to be more competitive.

Pros: Works well

Cons: No real problems

Pros: Does its job with no issues, built solid, we have over 100+ of these in use right now for well over two years and have had ZERO issues with them at all

Cons: gets a tad warm on occasion

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure how the guy who wrote the review on 2/12/2008 treats his AC adapters but with over 100 users using lenovo.
its simple enough to fix, dont leave your AC adapter cords out for the dog to chew on and you wont have cable breaking issues

Pros: Works with my Thinkpad T60p laptop.

Cons: This thing is complete junk. This is my second one of these. I haven't had it more than three months and now I need to buy a new one. The part that plugs into the laptop is very flimsy. The wires inside have started to break so I have to bend it in a certain way for it to work. The first one stopped working for the same reason.
