Pros: My wife isn't complaining anymore that she needs new caps!!!
Cons: they wear out
Other Thoughts: Having had IBM laptops for over 10 years, new caps are worth every penny

You can't go wrong with these caps
Pros: I use my trackpoint exclusively (see Other Thoughts) and after years of daily use I am *so glad* I stopped putting off this purchase. Like ranron, I initially considered the non-classic-dome styles to be a waste, but after trying the soft dome with rubber dots, I have a new favorite.
Cons: The Nigerian Letter, The Pigeon Drop, Pricking the Garter, Texas Twist, Three-Card Monte, etc.
Other Thoughts: I hate touchpads and love the trackpoint interface, so much so that I have gone out of my way to buy Thinkpads without touchpads (T22, R31 and R60e). Too bad the pointing stick seems to be losing out to the touchpad across the notebook industry. Harumph.

Pros: Works, cheap, easily replaceable.
Cons: Can't buy just the domed caps (or any specific style for that matter separately)
Other Thoughts: I wish they let you get a bag of 50 domed caps or something (I'd replace them every 2 weeks as they got dirty and ugly).
