Pros: Plenty of space
Holds both my laptop, my books and my other accessories with plenty of room to spare.
The material and composition of the backpack seems to be good quality and seems as if it will hold up durability wise over the long haul.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Everything is well stitched and put together on this backpack I received it in a timely manner and it seems to be exceptional quality. The problem with most backpacks is how well they hold up over time especially under a heavy load. If there are issues in the future i will re-post but at this time it is an exceptional backpack and i am more than pleased with the product.

Pros: This bag is huge! Tons of pockets everywhere.
multiple large compartments and decent padding for the laptop pocket. 2nd large pocket that looks like it could hold another laptop/tablet but no real padding for this one.
I find that I have more pockets than stuff to put them in.

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: Good workmanship on the stitching and I like the mesh pockets under the exterior flap, great for holding a bottle of water without fear of it falling out.

Pros: This bag is huge! pockets everywhere, I am not sure I carry enough stuff around to fill them all.

Cons: Padding for the laptop section feels a bit thin and the zippers feel slightly cheap

Other Thoughts: I would definitely purchase another for my son once he destroys his current bag.
Even with the thin padding for the laptop compartment I still feel like everything is protected.
Still 5 stars to me.

Pros: Great overall backpack for computers and traveling

Cons: One thing I did not notice in my first review - the rubber carrying handle on top of the backpack. It has changed from the previous version of this backpack. The previous versions had a rubber handle that was maybe 1" in diameter - comfortable to hold and carry heavy loads. The NEW handle is half that diameter - ~ 1/2" and cuts into your hand / fingers when carrying heavy loads in the backpack.

Other Thoughts: When I am traveling - the backpack is loaded. The handle would be a deal breaker for me going forward. If you never have to use the New style handle - great backpack.

Pros: I have had 2 of these so far. They have lasted 5 years each in the way I use them. I usually have about 25 lbs worth of stuff in it, but when I travel I pack it full w 35-40 lbs worth of stuff. More durable than any other backpack I have seen. There has been some fraying and some tearing around the edges ..... but this happens after 3 years of heavy use. I have not been disappointed and l will ook for this same pack again - when the time comes ....

Cons: My 'fraying' only occurs on the sides of the front pocket and it is not really noticeable ..... but if they could find a way to keep that from happening .... :)

Pros: Huge. Takes everything but the kitchen sink. Great for long haul travel to Asia and Europe. Carries one 17 inch laptop and one 14 inch laptop at the same time. Plus all the chargers and extra batteries with room for extra clothes, paperwork, toiletries, a snack and a water bottle.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought it full price at about $80 three + years ago. On sale now for less than $60. Great buy.

Pros: This backpack is a great fit for anyone looking to carry their ASUS ROG 17.3" Gaming laptop. After a few review from the previous owners I read on Newegg reviews. I gave it try & is a perfect fit. Not to BIG no too SMALL. Not even my local retail store had one. And it's a Navy blue color.

Cons: For me is the color, but nothing else.

Other Thoughts: Thanks to the previous owners of the ASUS G7(x) for sharing your reviews, I would of never try it. Just what I was looking for. Not even an $80.00 backpack was doing it's job as stated.....Stay away from the Rosewill 17' size backpack. I try it & is a buffle bag size...lol...size measure inside is 23"

Pros: This bag has lots of pockets and space in the zipper pouches. Very nicely carries my HP EliteBook 8770 Workstation and charger brick. There is enough space for gym clothes which means one less bag to drag along to work. The lower torso strap feels secure and all straps are in good location. Confident enough in this bag to pack the laptop for commuting by motorcycle.

Cons: Not sure why the smallest pouch is on a flap, latched to the main backpack. Haven't found a use for the mesh pockets under this flap yet, not sure I want anything unsecured in them when I commute by motorcycle. May try them for water bottles later on.

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a good bag to replace my 15" Targus sport, since it's not very good with a 17" laptop. It was bulging at the seams and the zipper was coming apart. Price was great and shipping was fast.

Pros: This is a very durable bag. I've had it for 6 years now. Originally bought for a 17" laptop which held it comfortably. I then started using it as a day pack for hiking in the mountains. Its been through quite a bit. All the zippers are still functioning. There isnt any tears or fraying anywhere. Its a very well used bag.

Cons: None that i can think of. Does everything I wanted it to do and more!

Pros: Backpack will fit Darnn near any reasonable item in it, including some monitors. I'm not talking about ATX cases or anything, just laptops and peripherals, maybe a lanboy?

Lots of room for modifications.

Cons: The extra storage ares are not configured well. The cellphone/MP3 pocket won't hold a note3 w/ otterbox, but it's close, I'm trying to stretch it out now. There is a part that looks like the "Kangaroo Pouch" I had on my Swiss gear MAXXUM, but it isn't a pouch at all, it folds open wide for? IDK? there's no full pocket on the long side. Luckily I have a friend who can rock a sewing machine. I also grew use to a mesh pocket above where the laptop goes, and this one has no pockets in the laptop area. Waterbottle area is super tight, may make it difficult to fit cycling sized water bottles.

Need a place to hook things to aside from shoulder straps.

The Shoulder straps have no thumb loops, and on bigger people, this makes tightening of the straps once the pack is on a pita. Again, I ripped the loops off my other backpack and will have them sewn to this one.

Other Thoughts: You may find this nit picky, but I just came off a 5 yo wegner swiss gear backpack that I LOVED, and I almost went back to that brand, but this one "Looked" like exactly what I wanted, as I wanted a bigger laptop folder, and a kangaroo pouch. It was close, just frustrating that I have to mod it when my last backpack just worked.

That's why I'm writing the review, you may find this perfect?
Thinking I may put a light strip on it for when I cycle to work.
