5 out of 5 eggsBeen working for over a year

Pros: Has been working perfectly since day 1, powering a Asus g50vt gaming laptop under fairly heavy use. No problems.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: FSP Group continues to make very high quality products and this is no exception. Not the cheapest option, but many of the super cheap AC power adaptors (not necessarily the ones found on Newegg) are terribly made and can potentially damage your laptop. Spend a little more on a quality brand when it comes to AC adaptors.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Charger

Pros: Works great, good quality, fit my toshiba perfectly, long cord

Cons: Comes unplugged easily

Other Thoughts: Works wonderfully! The only problem I have with it is that it comes unplugged easily and I've had a hard time trying to figure out how to keep it plugged in. Other than that, I would recommend it if your power supply breaks and the replacement costs $100, this is a great alternative.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks fine except...

Pros: Powers and charges my Gateway very well when working properly.

Cons: Cord isn't as flexible as the original which caused excess strain on the power jack. I had to replace the power jack on my Gateway once and the new jack is already starting to fail! Changing out the jacks is NOT something I enjoy doing!

While the barrel connector does fit my laptop it doesn't have the groove on the outside of the barrel to hold it in place. Sometimes it slips out.

Other Thoughts: May work better in other brands.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Choice

Pros: Works with those notoriously touchy Dells.
Sturdy

Cons: None after 2+ months of ownership with daily/semi-daily use.

Other Thoughts: Worth the price

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works, even when you think it's broken

Pros: It works with several laptops.

Cons: Occasionally it doesn't work, and makes a beeping noise and the LED blinks. This may be because I dropped it. However if you unplug it and shake the transformer it works then.

Other Thoughts: Larger than others because it's 120 Watts, perfect for gaming and never gets hot like other 90 W. adapters.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Solidly built, no dongles or switches to break.
Run very cool.
Plugs fit well, even in hard-to-fit Dells.

Cons: A bit larger than stock adapters.

Other Thoughts: Works flawlessly on 2 Dells of varying vintage, and a new Compaq. The extra wattage capacity isn't needed by most laptops, but the extra headroom means this adapter will run cooler and last longer than others. It will probably outlast all 3 laptops.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome product!!

Pros: - 120 Watt
- 3 Year Warranty
- Has the special Dell ID Chip that communicates with the laptop allowing you to charge the battery.
- Looks like it's well made, not like the cheap Dell OEM PS

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: The ID Chip is detected as 90W, even though it is rated at 120W (It still can supply the maximum of 120W, FSP just put the 90W ID chip in it. I'm guessing for maximum compatibility). This is not a problem with my e1705 as it only requires a 90W PS, but if you have a laptop that requires a higher minimum, you may want to look elsewhere. Possibly the NB 150, not sure if Newegg sells it though.

5 out of 5 eggsgood unit

Pros: Has universal tips for use with most laptop brands. high wattage output....can take full power draw for long periods of time.

Cons: non so far

Other Thoughts: If you have a big, power hungry lappy like mine( Vaio AR520e), then this is the unit for you. My lappy killed a Targus brand 90 watt unit. That unit would get extremely hot under heavy use. This one stays nice and cool and has yet to overheat or cut out on me like the old unit did.
