3 out of 5 eggsBroke within 2 years

Pros: Holds my 15.6" laptop snugly and securely, comfortable straps, nice water bottle holders on both sides, pouch inside big enough to hold charger and mouse together.

Cons: This laptop broke less than two years from the day I bought it, and I by no means was rough with it. The main zipper completely fell apart all at once: Literally the teeth came off the backpack. Also, the inner pouch on the main opening started ripping. This wasn't a problem at the time, but it speaks to the poor stitching in the pack.

Also, though it is my own fault for not looking, this backpack is small. If you put a laptop and charger in it, don't expect to hold more than a textbook and MAYBE a notebook with it. Also, when it is full, the water bottle holders on the side are useless.

Other Thoughts: I gave this 3 stars because it was a good backpack for protecting your laptop, but it didn't perform to expectations in other categories. Plus it broke (my previous backpack is 10+ years old and still going strong but doesn't protect my laptop).

1 out of 5 eggs2nd Review (see Meh review)

Pros: Love the overall design. Perfect for me really. It holds my 17.3" Acer well. My mouse, power adapter and power cord. I could put a couple gallons of milk in it with that stuff.

There are a number of nice separators.

Cons: Construction quality. I don't carry this every day or even every week and they just have not held up. I am pn my 3rd one, had it two weeks and a seem blew out and then another the next time I went to use it. I don't over stuff it, actually I don't carry much with my laptop which is why I like this "minimalistic" design. I have had multiple seams on all 3 blow out now. Stitching has failed as well as the fabric itself.

Not at all Airport Friendly - but they sell other bags for that.

Again - lack of padding on the bottom of the backpack.

Other Thoughts: I bought a built messenger bag to replace it. I don't carry it often anymore so a backpack wasn't mandatory.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat backpack for the price

Pros: Style, quality, price.

Cons: A bit smaller than I thought.

Other Thoughts: I was a bit worried about purchasing this due to all the comments about the quality but I've been using this back pack for a few months now and I've had none of the issues that other have had. The back pack is made very well, feels much more expensive than the price suggests, looks great, and the cushion on the bottom is enough if you place it down like a normal person. I'll admit it's smaller than I expected however if you have multiple classes in one day and have to carry a few books at a time you might want to get something a bit bigger.

4 out of 5 eggsEverki Black swift light laptop backpack

Pros: The bag is fairly resiliant, handle is strong. The bottom is very durable, you can set it on concrete or rough surfaces. without damaging it. Inside is roomy enough for what i need. Outside pocket is verry roomy. Backpack has enough room for my scetch pad, laptop, notebook, nook, and pens and pencils. Plus my charger. Exterior stitching is good, and its atractive.

Cons: Not roomey enough for my cooling pad, so no starcraft II on the run. The lining on the inside is single loose stitch. It wont hold for a huge amount of time before i have to re sew it, not a problem as i can improve the orriginal. The straps are oddly set for my sholders, wider, almos as if it was a camping bag made for hiking. The zippers are pretty cheap. It didnt have room for my headphones, but i can carry those.

Other Thoughts: Over all... I would say this is a decent bag for the price you pay. If you know how to sew, this bag will last a looooong time, the outside is durable, and the tight weave makes the fabric semi water proof. The inside lining isent impressive, but meh. It holds my laptop securly, theres no need to pad the bottom extra unless your stupid and slam it into the ground.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: small stylish backpack, mostly only holds laptop and accessories without much extra space but that's a good thing for me just what i was looking for.

Cons: the side pockets where you put the water are too small and feels like the water bottle might fall especially riding a motorcycle, i guess it could use a little more padding at the bottom.

Other Thoughts: i wanted something compact, small and good looks that would fit a 17" laptop and this hit the spot. i got second backpack a rosswill and it's good but this one is cooler

1 out of 5 eggsworst laptop backpack I've ever owned.

Pros: ok modern design
compact backpack that fits 17" laptop

Cons: tearing seams everywhere.
very week padding on the bottom and top.
bad interior design that can not fit anything but laptop and its accessory.

2 out of 5 eggsSlim Design, Bad Seams

Pros: Slim design that can fit a 17" laptop.

Cons: On my second pack already. First one had a seam splitting at the top. RMA replacement has a seam already busting on the strap.

2 out of 5 eggsNice for a month

Pros: Neat and cheap little backpack. A Tech bag for under $50.

Cons: Ripped within a month of purchase with maybe 5 lbs of force. Contacted Everki for their lifetime construction support, and received no response.

Other Thoughts: I'll never buy another Everki again and will preach to everyone about their unwarranted lifetime warranty. Now looking to replace this one. And even though I like the more expensive Everki's, I know exactly how they operate.

This bag should be sold in Wal-Mart, not newegg.

4 out of 5 eggsreturned

Pros: sharp looking bag, nice inside. loved the orange look

Cons: Did not house my ASUS G53sw laptop very well.

Other Thoughts: g53sw isnt a typical 15.6 inch laptop... but if i wanted just a backpack for a laptop and lil else, this would be the bag for me.
