5 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: Good cord length. Magnectic base holds it to top of my computer case, which is where I wanted it. One USB outlet is set apart, which keeps larger thumb drives from crowding other devices.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Have had for 8 months with no glitches. About to buy another one for wife's computer.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: I set up a new "email and light word processing" machine that bolts onto the back of a widescreen monitor (0 desk space). USB ports are not easily accessible. Solution: this item. Comes with sticky pads on the bottom that secured it fine to the base of the monitor, to make it easy to plug in USB drives, iPods, etc.

Cons: Sticky pads aren't *quite* as secure as I'd like. The hub doesn't come loose, but it does wiggle. I have to hold onto it when inserting anything. Also, the bright green LED staring me in the eyes is a little annoying, but simple solution = electrical tape.

Other Thoughts: Does exactly what I needed, great price!

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: I love this item. All USB inputs work great without a problem, has a magnetic base to keep it in place, the cord is long enough to stretch it out to a convenient place, and the price is right.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: No compatability issues eather. Plug and play.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small and light weight, packs into laptop case easily.

Cons: There is a magnet in each end of the unit which was not mentioned. Strong enough to pick up a pair of scissors. Probably not a good idea to get it too close to the hard drive. The end caps pop off easily so I removed the magnets as they are attached by a double sided adhesive.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: Does what its advertised to do. No trouble with my computer recognizing anything that is attached through the device. Length of cord is nice, I am able to run all my cords around the table and not have clutter on my desk. Has a sticky bottom that you can choose not to use, but is helpful if you dont want it to move around.

Cons: none.
