4 out of 5 eggsVery nice and well made, but...

Pros: Well constructed. Excellent build quality. Nice styling -- good for business or leisure travel. For a computer bag, this one offers lots of room for those needing space on the go (i.e., pockets for my papers, a couple of paperbacks and one larger book, cell phone, MP3 player, notebook charger, mouse, etc.). Would make a nice business bag even without the computer. Good price for the product when compared to more expensive bags.

Cons: My Asus G50VT-series 15.4" notebook has a really tight fit and there could be more padding around the edges of the notebook -- especially the last ~3" at the top and the top of the bag (there is no padding in these areas).

Other Thoughts: Comparing my new Asus to my 17" Dell, they are about the same size! So be sure of your 15.4" notebook's dimensions before buying. The Dell bag I've had for years -- also tough as nails -- had about the same carrying capacity but had better protection for my notebook. My Dell bag has a rigid liner/hard walls with padding protecting all the outer edges of my notebook. I've seen other bags out there also offer more protection for the top edge of the notebook. I would buy this bag again, but for a notebook I know would fit better. Regardless, the bag is so nice, I'm keeping it.

5 out of 5 eggsTough as nails

Pros: I've had this bag for 3 years. It has gone on many long trips with me and it is very tough. It is large enough to fit all your personal stuff inside when traveling, so you can keep it close. I stuff it to the brim when traveling, with books, PDA, cell phone, iPod, wallet, and even a bottle of water when I'm flying. It looks great, professional without being too geeky. Fantastic bag.

Cons: I just got a 17" laptop, and it won't fit. They don't make one of these that does fit a 17". :(

Other Thoughts: I'm serious when I say that after 3 years of heavy use, it doesn't have a single rip or tear, and the zippers are all in perfect shape.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent product. Provides great protection for my laptop and has plenty of storage space for all my books, notebooks, and supplies.

Cons: Strap could be a bit longer.

5 out of 5 eggsCan't say anything bad about it

Pros: I just got one of these a little bit ago and was wondering exactly how it would work for me and I love this thing. It has enough pockets and room in it to stuff anything I need in it (actually, I haven't even managed to fill it yet). It feels incredibly sturdy and the mesh pockets on the inside are perfect fits for my mouse and power pack for my laptop. I have an XPS 1530 complete with the oversized 12 or 9 cell battery (however many that was, I can't remember, but it adds some bulk) and it has NO problems fitting in this thing. It even seems like there's room to spare in the laptop pocket.

All the room in it is great, not to mention that it's actually pretty light on its own and actually looks good too. I use this as a general laptop carrier and stuff my books in it when I have class, so all the room is really nice.

If you want something with enough room to put a bunch of stuff on top of a computer and various accessories, I'd say this is a pretty sure thing.

Cons: Only possible thing I can think of is that if you have enough stuff in it you can wear your shoulders out carrying it.

Other Thoughts: I had to get used to putting my laptop in, the zipper edges there kind of stick up in the way of the laptop pocket and it took me a little to get used to that. Not hard or tricky at all, just something to keep in mind if you're not used to it.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: High quality construction made from excellent materials. Thoughtful design.

Cons: This bag is awesome so there is nothing negative to report.

Other Thoughts: My Acer TravelMate 14.1" fits the padded laptop compartment with room to spare. Even if you don't have a laptop this would make a great business case. Might just buy another for a spare, it's that good.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Quality and value

Pros: Everything. If you want a case this size, nothing else I've looked at comes close. I'm VERY picky about cases. This has unbelievable quality features that I've only found in Tumi and Scully, and those were over $100 at discount. Very light for its size, perfect fit for my Dell latitude 610 and charger, amazing capacity. I'd give it 6 stars if they'd let me.

Cons: One trade-off: the air-filled padding keeps the case puffed out to about 7" thick. But it can be squeezed down to 3" when necessary.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to buy a second one ASAP, for fear that they'll discontinue this.

5 out of 5 eggsStrong and Reliable

Pros: Strong reinforced bag. Has many compartments. Nice looking.

Cons: BIG AND HEAVY! Bag has no separate compartment for ac adapter and wires. Not cheap

Other Thoughts: Great bag but not for light use. Great as an office bag where you need the space for a laptop plus other itmes as books and files. Over very nice bag.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Perfect Bag

Pros: Room for everything. Fits my HP dv5000 perfectly, including the 12 cell battery that extrudes from the laptop case. Room for legal size files and papers. Big front pocket that holds all my tools also, plenty of pockets.

Cons: The only thing I can think of is that while the bag is well padded, it is totally soft. It would be nice if it had hard walls around the laptop compartment.

Other Thoughts: This bag is very nice and has lots of room. If you need a big shoulder bag with room for laptop and other things, buy this one.
