1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't fit.

Pros: Its a good quality backpack with lots of storage space.

Cons: The title says it will fit 16" laptops and the product description claims to fit 15.6" laptops, however the lenovo I purchased with it will not fit in the pocket. It sticks out a fair bit and the zipper will not close. Outside the pocket it will fit, but the zipper barely closes.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this if you plan to use it with a 15.6" screen, get something else.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: For those who were looking for a bag that could hold a 15.6/16" laptop, I can say this definitely holds my Acer Aspire V3-572G-543S Notebook 15.6" comfortably with a little wiggle room on the top.

The various sections and pockets are nicely organized and the amount of space is deceptively large. It holds all my items well for my work in graphic design and school: books, utensils, laptop, mouse, wires, headphone, snacks, water bottles, and other small electronics.

When I put on the backpack, it is very comfortable to wear and the weight from the items does not wear on me.

Cons: Like other reviewers mentioned, the picture does not match the actual product in regard to the headphone hole & does not have the chest strap. This is not a deal breaker to me, just something I though I should share.

Other Thoughts: I find this backpack worth the money I spent and would recommend this to anyone.

I'm very satisfied with this purchase!

4 out of 5 eggsPictures differ from what you will get

Pros: I've had one of these from previous job and it has every pocket you can imagine. Great bag.

Cons: I contacted Newegg support about this issue...bag shows the hole on side for headphone jack to go through, it is not on bag anymore, along with the strap that can snap across your chest, also missing. Part number from tag on bag matches this, but does not match what pictures show. Just an FYI.

I know the old Swiss Gear bag I had from old job , same part number, had both of these features, so I am not sure if this changed and they got rid of both, or maybe these are older bags, same part number, they are selling, not sure. I could not find any info online in regards to this.

2 out of 5 eggsFlex 2 15 doesn't fit

Pros: Seems to be well constructed. Lots of pockets.

Cons: Says it will fit 15.6"/16" laptops. But it does not fit a Lenovo Flex 2 15. Which is a very thin (under 1 inch) and compact 15.6" model.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressed, Excellent Product

Pros: Construction quality, "stand up" internal flap keeps the bag from falling over, wonderful compartments and pockets.

Cons: No cross chest strap.

Other Thoughts: This was recommended to me by a colleague at work. This is one of the best back packs that I have ever owned. I use it daily in my commute to work.

5 out of 5 eggsGreatest Backpack Ever

Pros: I used this comfortable bag heavily and harshly for over 8 years before the bottom finally blew out. However, due to excellent design, when the back seam of the bottom did break, nothing spilled out due to a flap that presses against the rest of the bottom and keeps everything inside by virtue of the pressure that the contents exert. When you look at the build of the bag you will be impressed with how durably it is engineered, seriously, even the reinforcements are reinforced.
This bag has all of the features you could ever want, and quite a few that I never even figured out what they are for (though they did not get in the way). Nothing I kept in this bag ever broke inside of it despite very rough treatment (again I attribute this to the excellent design of the bag).
As soon as my bag finally gave out, after over 8 years of faithful service I got another of the exact same model as soon as possible and I couldn't be happier.

Cons: While the shock absorbing straps are nice, the trim at the edge of the elastic on my first bag came loose fairly early on, which was easily and permanently fixed using only the most basic sewing skills.
The ventilated back padding will collapse over time, but into the shape of your back, so it's not really a problem.
Also, I kind of miss the "across the chest strap" that seems to have been dropped from the design of the model since I last purchased one.

Other Thoughts: If you make sure your laptop is going to fit before you buy it, you will almost certainly NOT be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Pack

Pros: Read many reviews on many packs. Seemed to be a popular model and the price was just right. Wore this thing straight for 8-10hrs a day for the past 2 weeks while visiting another country. So comfortable, padding where you need it and offers breathing room on your back between the padded spots to help with sweating.

Held a 15" Lenovo (with some room for a bit bigger) and plenty of cables, accessories, water bottles, snacks, and various other junk with no problem. Quality zipper/zipping action.

Stands up on its own in *most situations* loaded or empty. Looks good and the quick adjustment straps work great on the fly as your walking or running to catch the train!

Cons: none

3 out of 5 eggsLaptop doesn't fit.

Pros: It appears to be a very good bag. I would prefer a little more padding on the sides of the bag but overall its a good bag.

Cons: My 15.6" MSI GT-60 will not fit. I can barely push and stretch to get the zipper around the corners of the bag. This will scratch it and definitely doesn't protect the bag from bumps.

Other Thoughts: If you have a small lightweight laptop with a 15.6" screen this might work. Just don't try to squeeze ant beastly gaming laptops in there.

5 out of 5 eggsVery durable

Pros: Durability- Went through 2 bookbags the first semester of vet school and then gave in and bought this. Not only did it hold up to the daily average of 50 lbs of stuff, but even at 3.5 years later there were no major signs of wear! All the zippers worked, no frayed fabric, even no staining which is amazing.

Comfort- About the time I purchased this I was told I had done some minor nerve damage to my back. I was concerned that carrying ~50lbs of stuff everyday would only make it worse, however this bookbag is very comfortable and distributes the weight very well even when the majority of the weight of the bag is farther forward that the laptop compartment. I never felt like there were pressure points/ uneven pressure.

Laptop Protection- There were times that I was running late and just threw my laptop into this bag. I wouldn't always wait for it to actually reach a sleep state before throwing it in the bag and there were times the computer was definitely running hot right before it went into the bag, but I didn't have problems with the hard drive or damage to the bag or anything else in the bag. I did have to replace the mobo about 8x in 3 years but there were many other factors that went into that. I would say the bag had no part in it, but my bad habits did.

Cons: When full the bag would fall over pretty easily. Resulted in some squished food as it would always roll towards the front compartments, but no big deal unless you want to store something easily breakable.

Other Thoughts: My bag was stolen after I owned it for 4 years. Hard to remember exactly what was shoved into all the compartments (those side compartments no one knows what to do with are great for storing glasses if you have a hard case and only use them occasionally, also good for phone chargers if you don't want to dig through other cables to find it).
I'm going to purchase another Swiss Gear bag to replace it but I'm looking at the Ibex and Pegasus partly just for something different and partly because I would like to be able to store food ect in the smaller front compartment without it getting squished.
