5 out of 5 eggsGreat Pack

Pros: Read many reviews on many packs. Seemed to be a popular model and the price was just right. Wore this thing straight for 8-10hrs a day for the past 2 weeks while visiting another country. So comfortable, padding where you need it and offers breathing room on your back between the padded spots to help with sweating.

Held a 15" Lenovo (with some room for a bit bigger) and plenty of cables, accessories, water bottles, snacks, and various other junk with no problem. Quality zipper/zipping action.

Stands up on its own in *most situations* loaded or empty. Looks good and the quick adjustment straps work great on the fly as your walking or running to catch the train!

Cons: none

3 out of 5 eggsLaptop doesn't fit.

Pros: It appears to be a very good bag. I would prefer a little more padding on the sides of the bag but overall its a good bag.

Cons: My 15.6" MSI GT-60 will not fit. I can barely push and stretch to get the zipper around the corners of the bag. This will scratch it and definitely doesn't protect the bag from bumps.

Other Thoughts: If you have a small lightweight laptop with a 15.6" screen this might work. Just don't try to squeeze ant beastly gaming laptops in there.

5 out of 5 eggsVery durable

Pros: Durability- Went through 2 bookbags the first semester of vet school and then gave in and bought this. Not only did it hold up to the daily average of 50 lbs of stuff, but even at 3.5 years later there were no major signs of wear! All the zippers worked, no frayed fabric, even no staining which is amazing.

Comfort- About the time I purchased this I was told I had done some minor nerve damage to my back. I was concerned that carrying ~50lbs of stuff everyday would only make it worse, however this bookbag is very comfortable and distributes the weight very well even when the majority of the weight of the bag is farther forward that the laptop compartment. I never felt like there were pressure points/ uneven pressure.

Laptop Protection- There were times that I was running late and just threw my laptop into this bag. I wouldn't always wait for it to actually reach a sleep state before throwing it in the bag and there were times the computer was definitely running hot right before it went into the bag, but I didn't have problems with the hard drive or damage to the bag or anything else in the bag. I did have to replace the mobo about 8x in 3 years but there were many other factors that went into that. I would say the bag had no part in it, but my bad habits did.

Cons: When full the bag would fall over pretty easily. Resulted in some squished food as it would always roll towards the front compartments, but no big deal unless you want to store something easily breakable.

Other Thoughts: My bag was stolen after I owned it for 4 years. Hard to remember exactly what was shoved into all the compartments (those side compartments no one knows what to do with are great for storing glasses if you have a hard case and only use them occasionally, also good for phone chargers if you don't want to dig through other cables to find it).
I'm going to purchase another Swiss Gear bag to replace it but I'm looking at the Ibex and Pegasus partly just for something different and partly because I would like to be able to store food ect in the smaller front compartment without it getting squished.

4 out of 5 eggsLots of pockets and room

Pros: Lots of large pockets, well made construction and stitches, the bottom flap makes it stand on its own, looks good too

Cons: Not many organizer pockets in the larger pockets. Makes me think of lots of wasted space if you carry small items, office supply type stuff and computer peripherals and need to organize them.

Other Thoughts: They only part this really nice backpack let's me down on is the lack of organizers. If you carry lots of big stuff or use it as a weekend bag for flights, it works.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat backback! Mine has not done well...

Pros: Great space, Flexibility, And very comfortable.

Cons: Mine did not last with the shock absorbing technology. The threading came un-done and the strap will soon fall to pieces.

Other Thoughts: Great backpack. Not good for a person who doesnt like threads hanging everywhere. Mine did not make it more than 2 months before a rip.

4 out of 5 eggsComfortable w/ lots of pockets

Pros: Feels great on the back, distributes weight and is padded well.
Lots of pockets to keep everything organized.
Excellent laptop pocket.

Cons: With a laptop, a textbook, and a couple notebooks (the paper kind), it becomes difficult to access most pockets because it doesn't expand much at all.

Other Thoughts: Still the best backpack I've ever owned.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic, Durable Backpack

Pros: I've owned this backpack for about 3 years now, and have used it practically every single day. You'd never know, as there isn't even one seam on it that's come loose. This thing is extremely durable, practical and fantastic in every way you'd want in a back pack. I couldn't possible recommend a backpack any more.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If you need a laptop backpack, this is the only one to get.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Backpack

Pros: The backpack is very durable. I feel like I can trust things to be thrown around and have both the items inside snug and the backpack itself in great condition.

Lots of well thought-out pockets.

Drink holders on side are actually deep enough to hold taller water bottles with ease.

Laptop second of the backpack feels secure with excellent padding. I don't feel as though my ultrabook is at any risk.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Fantastic backpack. Would recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Compartments!

Pros: Lots of protective padding for the Laptop and the interior fabric [Silver] makes it very easy to "see" what is in the pack. So many backpack linings are completely black making it very difficult to see the contents. This item is a real Winner. My favorite pack in 40+years of back packing!!!

Cons: Not available at gas stations, supper markets or drug stores....

Other Thoughts: Construction is excellent. I wish i bought this long ago: North Face like quality!!!
