Swissgear  PEGASUS 17" GA-7306-06F00 Laptop Computer Backpack

Pros: Solid construction, well padded laptop carry pouch, & plenty of space for laptop accessories.

Cons: Side pouches are useless if you want to carry water bottles- you can either use the pouch or the water bottle holder mesh on each side, but not both on the same side at the same time. A sternum strap would have been good to have to keep load balanced and secure.

Other Thoughts: A good laptop backpack overall, with a couple of improvements to the design I would bump up the rating.
Instead of trying to maintain a symmetrical appearance for appearances sake, change the side compartments to be an expanded zippered compartment on one side with no overlapping water-bottle mesh, and an expanded water-bottle mesh on the other side. Add sternum strap.

Pros: I spent months searching for the best quality for the price backpack to lug my laptop around. The Pegasus not only is functional and sturdy, it looks good in a guy kinda way. There is sufficient padding to protect the laptop on all sides and the bottom of the backpack is flat so it will not fall over when you set it down. The backpack is also very comfortable either on one shoulder or two.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I'm glad I researched this purchase long enough to be happy with my choice.

Pros: I love this backpack. I have a widescreen 17.3" notebook and couldn't find a backpack that would fit it, until this. Very well constructed, riveted cabled handle and all of the storage I need for school. This is a for sure 5 Egg purchase! Way to go SwissGear!

Cons: Not a one.

Pros: Lots of space for anything big or small, room for small amount of clothes in second zipper, lots of tool & laptop accessory space in front pocket, top zipper in front.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This backpack has TONS of space for anything you could ever want to carry around with your laptop. I've been using this bag since 2010 and it hasn't failed me yet!
You have the primary zipper, which I use to store my laptop, my mouse, and an ethernet cord... Secondary zipper for the power cord, and I usually use that space to store some clothes if I'm sleeping over somewhere or want to get comfy at a relative's house.
Uhm... Front zipper for anything. Pens, art tools, gamepads, extra accessories, anything you want really. It has a medium sized zipper in that too.
Now the top zipper is really where I store my medical supplies (like bandaids, kleenex, hand wipes, uhm... you can put small bottles in there if you take pills, etc.), and you can also store easy to get to pens if you're on the go a lot. It's not a bad place to put all that at all. You can store bigger medical supplies in the front zipper. None of the straps have ever failed me.
I've taken great care of this backpack, and it's taken great care of me. ;)

Pros: Comfortable, Plenty of Storage, Durable, Stylish.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have a 2007 model of the Pegasus, and carry it daily. Still not a tear in any stitch, and shows minor wear and tear. I can fit my Alienware M17x in the Laptop storage arear (not in the sleeve), but it fits snug. Going to buy another in case this is discontinued at some point.

Pros: Durable. Plenty of storage. Lightweight.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I have had this backpack for about a year now. Stores my MacBook Air, iPad, ASUS UX31 and other accessories. Does great and the shoulder straps are very comfortable.

Pros: Love this bag. Plenty of room for all my cables and peripherals. Watch the NewEgg videos, they help explain these bags inside and out.

Cons: Since I've owned, the only con I can mention is the zippers for the laptop compartment are on an angle so they tend to stick when zipping up which leads me to believe I may be sending this in for warranty service due to a worn or broken zipper.

Pros: Great backpack.

Cons: To small for the Asus G series laptops

Other Thoughts: I bought this bag when I started school back in 2010. I have used it everyday, all day since I bought it and it still looks brand new. I have never experienced anything like this with any product. It is worth its price.

Pros: Fits my giant 17.3 Acer Aspire and my Ipad along with a few textbooks.
Great if your a student needing to move throughout campus.

Cons: When you put a laptop ipad and 2 text books in there, not much else is going to fit. I am a nursing student so I have alloooooot of books, but didnt want to settle on a 15 inch screen. Im ordering that giant orange everki that can hold a PS3 now so that should be able to fit.
