Pros: It has lots of pockets, built well. Holds larger laptops

Cons: doesn't have hole for headphones. Side pockets aren't very large, not as useful for storing stuff.

Other Thoughts: I'm torn between this backpack and my other swissgear Maxxum backpack

Pros: Bag is a good size and very comfortable. The pockets all work very well and the laptop sleeve fits my 15.6 laptop snuggly. it does have room for more laptop though. I have not put it through the ringer yet so I don't know if it has the durability to last yet. but if it is anything like my other Wenger products (20yr old knife and 10yr old wallet) I'll get sick of it long before it breaks.

Cons: I'm personally not a fan of the laptop sleeves placement. I'd like it right up against my back instead of on the other side but I'm sure I am wrong and they placed it in the right spot.

Pros: Very durable. I've had this bag for 2 years and have drug it all over the place and just barely beginning to showing signs of wear. LOTS of room. I still lose stuff inside with all the pockets and places in there. I've even used it for camping. Man, this bag can hold some stuff.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: Just bought a new laptop and I will buy another bag like this one if still available.

Pros: sturdy, good looking bag

Cons: Does NOT improve his grades

Other Thoughts: Great tough and protective bag. Used by a teenager and has held up to his use and abuse.

Pros: Super durable, used almost daily, and still looks like new.
Holds LOTS of equipment, and keeps it safe!

Cons: Because it is big, it can get heavy.

Other Thoughts: This past winter, I slipped on some ice and I was carrying this pack at my side.

In my tumble, I dropped this pack, full of equipment (Laptop, DSLR, tablet, portable hard drive), about 2 feet.

Other than the pain in my backside, I was much more concerned about the hardware, which was protected by this durable pack.

With my hardware anxieties aside, I was able to focus my attention on my aching backside.

Pros: This backpack is amazing. Fits 2 textbooks, 2x1.5" binder, and laptop in the main two compartments.

Cons: Two side pockets (the one's with the zippers) are a little silly, but an extra place to store random small items you don't need to access often.

Other Thoughts: BUY BUY BUY! I had my backpack stolen (an earlier version of this model) and I immediately came back to buy this one!

Pros: The quality of the bag is great. Very comfortable and has plenty of room of extras. Craftsmanship seemed very good for the price.

Cons: I should have read the other reviews more thoroughly, as they will tell you (and now so will I) that this does not fit most 17.3" laptops. I specifically have an Acer VN7-791G-730V and it does not fit in the laptop pouch. You can almost fit the laptop in the section outside the pouch, but the zippers bulge when doing so.

Other Thoughts: It's too bad this bag isn't the right size for my needs as I otherwise loved it.

Pros: it was well made and looked good

Cons: It did not fit my ASUS M70 Series M70Vm-X1 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 (2.53GHz) 4GB Memory 320GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GS 17.0" Windows Vista Home Premium.

Other Thoughts: specs stated 17" so got it because my large Rosewill Black/Silver 17" Notebook Backpack Model RBG-1701BP is tearing away on the top handle and around the back straps.

Pros: It has lots of space. I use this for my computer Tech stuff for troubleshooting and to carry my laptop which is 16 inch fits fine it would be tight to fit 17 inch into it i would imagine

its metal handle with plastic over it is solid the straps are comfortable and can take a really heavy load

I cant stop talking good about it plenty of pockets which i like.

Cons: its not free :P i dont know i like everything about it..

Other Thoughts: SwissGear has had my business in other things now they have my business with this backpack.

Pros: Wow, where do I start? It's got lots of pockets and compartments, has held up pretty good over the years, nothing has broken off or came undone on the construction, the top handle is really sturdy. Again, pockets out the wazoo, I have compartments within compartments to hide small things like flash drives and external USB 3.0 drives. Love the Headphone routing hole although I don't use it much. The Side mesh pockets hold water bottles ok, they don't slip out too easily. When I put it on it's mostly comfortable and doesn't shift around too much. Fits a 15" laptop just fine, haven't tested it with a 17" one yet. The internal padding for the laptop is good, feels like it holds the laptop pretty secure and safe. I love the internal mesh pouch, that's where I keep my power cords for my laptop charging.

Oh and I love the design and color, It was one of the reasons it caught my eye.

Cons: Too much in the backpack can make it uncomfortable on your back but that's an issue that can be easily solved by not putting too much stuff in it. I have a few balance issues when sitting it down, but again, rectified by not putting too much in one compartment. The Air flow design doesn't quite work when you're a heavy set person like me, you still sweat when wearing it and you do sometimes have to re-adjust the straps occasionally.

Other Thoughts: Would like to get a bigger laptop to see if I have any issues with fitting it in my bag like others have stated. Swiss Gear made this Laptop backpack to last. And thank goodness too because I have used it a lot.
