5 out of 5 eggsI love it - great functionality and design

Pros: Had it for a little over 5 months and it still works great. Fan is quiet, but produces a lot of air flow. LED lights still work good and look cool. I've seen several other coolers and none of them look as cool as this one. It's built good, and feels strong and sturdy. I have a fairly large 17.3" MSI GT-70 laptop and it fits perfectly.

Cons: I'm dissapointed it is now discontinued, such a great cooler!

1 out of 5 eggsWould be awesome except...

Pros: Excellent fan cooling, size was perfect for an ASUS G60JX. For those who like quiet, it delivers a decent speed without getting noisy.

Cons: The most flimsy USB and far too short cable. I have purchased two now and the cable has gone bad within 3 months on both. I thought the first time it was just chance since the product had so many good reviews. Nope. It happened again despite the notebook sitting on a stand and a USB extension cable. Admittedly it was my fault for not getting a warranty.

This would be so much better if it had an AC cable. As it stands I'd warn anyone buying this product.

4 out of 5 eggsgood cooler

Pros: This works a lot better than any other fans I've gotten for my laptop. I like the height and quality.

Cons: It's a bit heavy on my lap, but that's with my laptop included, so it's not really a big deal. However, after eight months, the USB adapter part has broken and now I cannot use it. I like the product a lot, but I don't want to buy the same thing twice, so I guess I'll have to find something else.

4 out of 5 eggsworks perfectly

Pros: i used it for my macbook pro. it masde my macbook run perfectly cool. It is not loud at all even on the max settings. i would 100% recommend this fan over any other fan

Cons: You can really sit down and put this on your lap, because it blocks circulation. need a desk for it

Other Thoughts: totally happy with product

3 out of 5 eggsDecent cooling not so decent price

Pros: Decent cooling when overclocking my gpu on my laptop
Very nice looking with mirrors and blue led fan
Durable and dependable

Cons: Too pricey for what it actually does
The fan should move faster to cool better
Does not really work as it should in lap

Other Thoughts: I have owned this cooler since last year when i wanted it to overclock my hp laptop's gpu to lower temps. The cooler seems to be very durable and seems to be very high quality. Overall this cooler is very nice looking but I do not believe it performs as well as it should for the price. There is only about a 3-4C drop in temp. I believe this would be improved with more room for air intake and faster fan.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Cooler

Pros: 3 words - Awesome, Awesome, Awesome

Awesome cooling: This cooler works so well, if I don't wear jeans... my legs freeze. And yes that means my laptop stayed cool as well. (ASUS G72 GX-X1)

Awesome durability: I bought this in Feb 2010 and used it EVERY DAY during a 6 month deployment to the desert (120+ degrees outside). I carried it back and forth to the internet cafe in my backpack with my other gear and it still looks and works as if it was brand new.

Awesome design: I loved the height on it, I've seen some complain about it, but the height just adds to keeping your legs from burning up. The legs were also not solid, which was a plus because it allowed me to route my cords thru them for some added wire management. Also the black metal, mirrors and blue lighting just screamed Awesomeness. I got many compliments by passerbys on my laptop (which I bought here as well), but near equal numbers of compliments on my cooler.

Cons: Maybe not a real con, because I'm sure it would be the same for most other coolers. But my leg hairs would often go into the wholes on the underside of the fan and it would tickle.

It was kinda big too, so I could see that as a con for some, it didn't bother me much though.

Other Thoughts: Now that I'm back home, I don't use it much because I use my desktop... but it's packed and waiting for my next deployment... and I'm confident it will still work great then.

Oh again, I purchased it here for in Feb 2010 - $67.99

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Laptop Cooler

Pros: Extremely large and quiet fan. Keeps my laptop cooled so easily that it is like night and day. None of the legs wobble or slide around on a surface. The blue LED is also a night feature simply because I'm into that type of thing.

Cons: Could be a bit easier to carry around, but I wouldn't trade this up for that reason

Other Thoughts: Simply put, the USB adapter is very nice and handy. I don't see why people are complaining that it should be for the AC. You're using the cooler for a laptop, which is mobile, AC adapters are not considered to be mobile. Maybe the option to use the AC adapter I guess would be fine, but you can't beat USB in this case. When I got this a long time ago, it was on sale, and just today I got a compliment on it because of how nice it looks and how much air it puts out. Worth every penny for something like that to happen.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth paying for

Pros: -HUGE fan... pictures don't do it justice
-Open, lightweight design
-Fits my Asus G60X perfectly (also keeps it much cooler)
-Very quiet... hardly can tell its on, although I agree with the fact that it should blow a little more air

Cons: Only problem is a sleight wobble (as if one leg is short) but it isn't noticeable with the laptop on

Other Thoughts: I've been a member for years now... this is the first review I've done, because I felt that this deserved it

As always Newegg had great shipping, and just another awesome product from Antec
