1 out of 5 eggsWeak

Pros: Looks pretty in picture. It may have worked well if my son didn't need to carry anything in it.

Cons: The zipper separated from the bag after a few weeks. Cheap construction.

5 out of 5 eggsSturdy, accessible, and protective

Pros: Before I bought this backpack, I was carrying my old laptop around in a sleeve that was - allegedly! - designed to protect the screen. It didn't, and even though I generally don't overstuff my bags, I ended up with spots on the screen. Ack. This pack, seems to have good protection with thick padding and laptop placement. It's a worthwhile investment, as new screens are expensive.

As for accessiblity, it's easy to get the laptop out and there's plenty of space for storing books, tablets, accessories, and so on. I like the wide range of front pockets - 3 of them decreasing in size, one with a organizer for phones, pens, etc. - which make organizing a breeze. The straps are comfortable and well padded yet the pack is surprisingly light.

Cons: One thing I would have liked to see is a waistband to take weight off of your shoulders. Those of us with sensitive backs really do benefit from these, but I haven't suffered too much yet.

Other Thoughts: The laptop compartment here is attached to the back of the pack rather than being fully removable. I like it this way, but take note of this if you're wedded to the removable-pouch design

5 out of 5 eggsMoney well spent!

Pros: I purchased it for the durability and reputation of Wenger. Solid construction, lot's of room and Outside mesh pockets to carry my water bottle or whatever. Rugged and comfortable, Shoulder straps are padded and airflow design makes for nice comfort on a hot day like today (over 100 F.) Has fold down inner pad to help assist keeping it up write. I loaded it down with 15.6" Notebook, 2 binders, 4 books 2 note books and all notebook accessories, including the free Logisys Cooling fan I received with purchase, Excellent price value alone.

Cons: None, will post if one develops.

Other Thoughts: You can't beat the price and the free add on that Newegg bundles it with i had my doubts at first, seemed to good to be true, but not the case. A must have if you're taking your notebook to school.

4 out of 5 eggsnice pack

Pros: I mean... It's a good backpack. Plenty of pockets, and a decent size. Then it has an okay padded laptop sleeve.

Cons: The nets on the side started to tear apart after about 4 months. Then my macbook pro's screen cracked when I had a liquor bottle in the backpack haha. So don't put anything heavy in there when you have your laptop in the laptop sleeve.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat laptop backpack.

Pros: Very well made and sturdy. Nice padding and secure strap for the laptop area inside. Enough room for 2-3 books in addition to a notebook, and plenty of extra pouches for accessories. Very comfortable padded backing and straps, it feels great even loaded down with lots of weight.

Cons: None. This is a great buy to protect your investment, even with the pricetag.

5 out of 5 eggsComfort and Function

Pros: Material feels very durable, wears well and holds more than the average laptop bag.

Straps are designed very well, with thumbtabs that make tightening a breeze, and loosening to take off is just as simple!

Cons: uhh, if you fill it up, it holds enough to make it very heavy?

Other Thoughts: Consider other suggestions and make sure to cinch it up on your back when carrying for longer periods.

well worth the price. Swissgear is a no-brainer.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent product

Pros: This is the first laptop backpack I've owned, so maybe I'm too much of a newbie to judge, but, for what it's worth: I spent several weeks on the road with this, and have nothing but praise for the design. Zippers and pockets in the right places, everything just so.

Cons: I think a rectangular piece of styrofoam packaging came with the bag, that I promptly threw out ... and then wish I'd retained, as it provided a bit more cushioning between the laptop and the exterior. I feel ridiculous even mentioning this as a 'con,' but, just the same: perhaps they could replace that rectangle of packaging with something that would serve the same purpose and look a bit less like a candidate for the recycling bin, , so a user will think twice before chucking it. But, I emphasize: this is nitpicking, and then some.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Pack!

Pros: I get back and forth on a motorcycle, and on a motorcycle small is good! Most packs are too big for the daily item I am carrying to and from work. This pack is big enough to carry my lunch, gym clothes & shoes, and my work laptop. Fits nice and snug.

Cons: I have not found any yet. It's pretty good quality stuff!

Other Thoughts: I got this on a Shell Shocker deal for half price, but I can tell you that full price is not bad for this pack.

5 out of 5 eggsTough backpack w/tons of room

Pros: Largest expandable backpack storage out of any I have tried to date. Looked long and hard for a backpack that can carry two laptops and many other gadgets. Had this thing loaded down with two laptops, digital camera, GPS, Legal pads, energy snacks, water bottles, office supplies, rain jacket, headphones, etc.. and travelled globally with zero issues. On my third COBALT backpack now in 7 years after heavy use. First one was Grey/Black, then Red/Black now Blue/Black. Paid eighty bucks for the first release of the backpack. Like the quick zip pocket by the top handle - great for quick access to memory sticks, car keys or plane tickets. Adjustable side straps make it easy to be slim or expand to full capacity. Shoulder straps are comfortable and easy to adjust.

Cons: None, other than having back pains from loading the backpack to capacity.

Remember to wear the backpack resting on your shoulders not touching your lower back and you should be fine.

Other Thoughts: Had a few tears, rips, and broken zippers courtesy of the airlines but overall a great backpack that will stand up well to abuse and heavy travel.
