"Cool Product"

Pros: It pulls heat off the bottom of my laptop and distributes it across the entire area of the pad. I don't have high heat build up like I used to. I have 2 of them now and gave one to my daughter too. When her air conditioning was out this summer she used it as a pillow to keep her head cool and she wanted a bigger one for her whole body.

Cons: The liquid material flows some and I find it helpful to turn the pad around from use to use to keep the material balanced across the entire pad.

Other Thoughts: When I travel it makes a nice protective pad in my case. I am using it now as I write this review on my laptop. It has crystals in it which liquify when it gets warm and thus there is a liquid cooling / heat transfer effect to it. When it cools again the crystals reform.

Sadly Disappointing

Pros: No cords, no fans, small profile.

Cons: Doesn't seem to do what it is designed to do. It certainly absorbs heat, but it made no discernible difference in cooling my laptop.

Other Thoughts: I had been very hopeful about this, since there are few attractive options out there, but it didn't work for my Gateway laptop.

Newegg took care of me though--what a great company to deal with!

not for serious heat issues

Pros: It's silent. It's flexible. It's light.

Cons: It has a tendency to store heat.

Other Thoughts: If you're trying to get rid of heat, storing it in the pad and spreading it across the entire bottom isn't helpful.
