Great for Macbooks -- not for Fan-Cooled Laptops

Pros: Easy to carry, does a great job of cooling. I use 2 for gaming so when one pad heats up, I trade out.

Cons: Make sure it is appropriate for your type of laptop. Not good for all products, depends on design.

Other Thoughts: Some of the reviews have complained this item heats up the notebook instead of cooling. If you have a laptop that relies on a bottom fan for cooling, this pad is NOT for you. It is designed for Macbooks which do not have bottom fans and don't need the same type of ventilation other laptops may.

Pros: Its quiet

Cons: Rather than keeping my laptop cooler, it melts down to a super hot liquid form and makes my laptop hotter than it would be without the pad.
