Will it work with windows 7??

It works really great with windows 7.  Our conference center was plagued with our old ones that would fall asleep and be impossible to wake up.  This has made our morning meetings much smoother.

Does this come with a usb dongle or does this work with bluetooth?

Comes with a USB dongle about the size of an average flash drive, which I think gets better range than bluetooth would (the range is impressive).  The dongle is stored in the bottom of the pointer.  When the dongle is in storage position the laser pointer will not activate so you can just throw the thing in your bag without worrying about it wasting battery life.

I know it works with PC. It works with a USB wireless plug like a wireless mouse. It has worked on every computer I have tried it with so far. We have 4 or 5 of these in the company and I have never had someone say it did not work.

Does it have the button that blacks out the power point screen?

Yes, you can forward slides, reverse direction and black out the presentation.

Without seeing dimensions, this device looks a bit bulky. Would you say that it is a bit cumbersome to hold while doing presentations?

It's smaller than it looks and fits very well in the hand (mine are small.)  It's nicely rounded on the back and tapered in the middle.  It also features a rubber-like texture which, while not sticky, helps keep hold..won't slip off desks, lecterns, or podiums.  The buttons are nicely positioned, too, for use by the thumb.

If mine broke (it has functioned flawlessly in 6 months of continual use) I would 100% purchase a replacement unit.

Is it Mac compatible?

Yes. I have used it with a few macbooks and it works fine most of the time. I did have trouble once where it appeared to have an issue with a keynote presentation. I have mostly used it with pdf files and powerpoint files.

There is no thumb drive.  It's the Bluetooth receiver for the presenter.

Is it comparable with windows8?

It says it's compatible with Windows 8 right on the "Overview" page.  Or you can go to the manufacturer's web page and click on "Features."

It acts as a standard USB keyboard device, so it pretty much works with everything.

I use it with a Macbook Pro and open office and it works fine. You just need a USB port.

I haven't tried my presenter with Windows 10, so don't have a definitive answer. Given that is works with Windows 8, I expect it would work fine with Windows 10.
