Pros: I've had this backpack for years of daily use and it has held up great! Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've had this backpack for SEVEN years now, and it's still going strong! I've used it for school, work, and travel. It has held up extremely well with only minor tears and the zipper tags coming off (zipper still functions fine). It fits every single laptop I've had over the years. One 17" Dell did have an extremely tight fit, but my 17" Toshiba and HP have both fit very well. It's got enough room to carry a set of clothes for the weekend, and the brace makes this thing so ridiculously comfortable -- even that time I missed the last bus from Seattle back to Seatac on the day after Christmas and had to walk seven miles in the snow with a fully loaded pack. If you're looking for a good day pack in this size, I recommend this backpack over any other bag I've ever even seen.

Cons: I only have one con, really. The bag is a little big & heavy. It's not really even a con. If you need a bag this size, buy it. I've only now started looking for a new back, simply because I don't need or want one this big anymore.

Other Thoughts: Just buy this bag. If you need one this size, you will not be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bag - Ordered 2nd One

Pros: Used this bag day in day out for nearly four years. Very tough... takes abuse... many pockets, very handy. No other bag meets the quality of this bag. I wish they had a newer look. Can easily accommodate my 15" laptop, cameras, Ipod, and a day or two of clothes for work.

Cons: Wish they'd update the look of it. But it's very professional looking and I've had lots of positive comments. The back brace broke out after the 1st year but still provided support and protection and didn't hurt by back. After 3 years, rips and tears started showing and zipper pulls broke off.... but hey... you shouldn't expect to get three years out of anything.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bag

Pros: I had one of these at work, and ended up getting one for home when I bought a laptop. the shoulder pads are really comfortable, the countour support is nice, and it is quite roomy inside, able to fit either a toughbook, or a everex gbook inside no problem. it also makes the hassle of carrying a laptop up stairs and ladders more bearable

Cons: for bigger people, it might be a bit tight, but manageable.

Other Thoughts: great pockets, just kind of wish there were more options, but this is just a laptop bag with extras, not a backpack that happens to hold a laptop. regardless a quality product

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've been very pleased with this backpack. It always seems to hold more than I think it will and has held up to major abuse for the past three years of College. Also it is the perfect size as an airplane carry on. When it is completely full it can still fit under the seat in front. The construction is very good and is layered so that when the outside tears it is still workable. Very well padded and comfortable. With my laptop and everything else I'm sure it weighs at least 35 lbs, and I can carry it for a good hour and a half before I need a break.

Cons: After three years ther are some minor tears and one big one in the bottom, but I consistently try to cram too much inside so this is to be expected. Also even the big tear in the bottom does not allow anything to fall out becasue there are multiple layers of material inside.

Other Thoughts: Definitely worth the money. I abuse backpacks very bad and they don't usually last over a year, but this one has gone three and is still very usable.

2 out of 5 eggsNot that great

Pros: Fits my Dell 9300 17" widescreen laptop, though it is very snug. The price is pretty good, but you get less than you pay for.

Cons: Stitching has come apart in three places. One of the shoulder straps is ripping, and the section that holds my laptop is coming apart, probably due to how snuggly the laptop fits.

The strap that goes around your waist does not fit me correctly, though I have an average body type. For it to rest on my hips, the backpack must hang very low on my back. If I tighten the armstraps to where it is comfortable, the waist strap is too high to provide support or carry any weight.

The back support insert is uncomfortable and should have more padding.

I bought this because I walk long distances with a heavy laptop and school books, and I was impressed by the endorsement by American Chiropractic Association. I was expecting comfort, but this bag just doesn't cut it. I was expecting some degree of quality, but it is falling apart at the seams within only three months.

Other Thoughts: This is a side-note, and is very subjective, but I don't think the bag is very attractive either. The shape and fit is not very good.

Ditch this and get something better. I wish I had my money back because I'll need it to invest in a more expensive, high quality backpack.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Back Pack

Pros: Good back pack fits my 17" everex with a slight zipper closing problem but nothing bad at all.

Cons: one of the outside pockets has torn but the bag is still serviceable.

Other Thoughts: Fits my laptop, 3 books, mp3 player power cables and theres still room for at least another book. overall descent back pack

1 out of 5 eggsNot a 17" Backpack

Pros: It looks great and seems sturdy.

Cons: It says it fits 17" computers. I have a 17" Dell E1705 and it took 2 of us to get it in the sleeve and back out again. Obviously it is being returned because it does not work.

2 out of 5 eggs17" whaa?

Pros: Initial impressions: Sturdy. Strong, tough material seems hard to rip or tear. Good amount of padding to keep whatever you have inside from being damaged.

Cons: Does not fit my 17" laptop. First thing i did when i got this was to test out the laptop slot and i was annoyed to find out after ten minuets of struggling with the backpack that my laptop wont fit. Tried it with a friends laptop as well, same story. In addition, there doesn't seem to be alot of room for book/binders, etc... even if i could fit my laptop in the proper spot.

Other Thoughts: The back support is worthless in my opinion. wearing this backpack feels just the same as wearing my old school one. maybe if i was wearing it for an hour or so it could see an advantage. but for going from the car to school or from classroom to classroom, its pretty much worthless.

3 out of 5 eggsKensington backpack

Pros: Looks great and has many pockets to store various items.

Cons: Does not fit my laptop. The measurements of the capacity are wrong. It states that it will old up to a 15.8 inch long laptop. Mine is 15.5 inches long and is no where close to fitting. In reality the backpack will only fit if it is 15 inches long or less.

Other Thoughts: Great backpack if your laptop fits.
