3 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Worked in Bora Bora (French Polynesia) with 200 volt French electric outlet for 2-prong US AC laptop adapter (rated for 110 - 220 volt input) and 2-prong US AC cell phone charger (rated for 110 - 220 volt input).

Cons: Was not able to plugin 3-prong (grounded) US AC adapters.

Other Thoughts: Works good enough for 2-Prong US AC adapters / chargers (rated for 110 - 220 volt input). This is an adapter, not a a converter.

    3 out of 5 eggsLimitations

Pros: converts US plug to most other shapes

Cons: does not convert voltage, only suitable for Class II electronics such as what is typically bought from this store

    5 out of 5 eggs

    Pros: Traveled to Ireland,worked perfectly.

    Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Only tried one device to it at a time, I don't know if you could have hooked a surge protector to it to allow multiple devices.

5 out of 5 eggsSmaller than expected.

Pros: Much smaller than I thought it would be. I saw a video of this same product being sold under a different brand, (exact same product. One manufacturer making it for several companies) and the person in the video clearly had much smaller hands than I do.

With all the plugs retracted, it's an oval shaped cylinder, roughly 2"x2.25" and just over 2.25" tall. Really quite compact. Significantly smaller around than a 12oz soda can, and less than half as tall.

It also has an easily accessible and replaceable fuse, a storage compartment for a spare fuse, and comes with 2 fuses.

    Cons: Can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: This is an adapter only. Not a power converter. Of course at this size, and this price, expecting it to convert voltages to 110 would be silly. Just be sure that whatever you use it for can accept the voltage you're plugging it in to.

In other words, your laptop, cell phone, and digital camera battery charger will probably all be fine.

Your electric razor or hair dryer will probably go up in smoke if you're in one of the countries that uses 240.

This is a great product if you do, or plan to, travel to different countries. However, if you're making a once in a lifetime trip to one country, it's probably better to just find out what plug they use, and get a single adapter.

I bought this for a trip to South East Asia that is coming up. Most of those countries use the same plug as the UK, but not all of them. With this, I'll be ready to go regardless.

2 out of 5 eggsDoes not support 3-prong devices

Pros: The adapters slide out easily and it's very firm while on the wall and connected to a device.

Cons: Despite what the picture shows, it will not support a 3-prong device - so if you laptop has a grounded plug, it will not work with this adapter.

Other Thoughts: I found some cheap adapters specifically for the place I'm going, so I'm just going to buy those and return all but 1 of these.

3 out of 5 eggsAlot to carry around

    Pros: Hooks up everything!

Cons: It's pretty big to carry around. I'm going to return it and get country specific ones for the few places I travel.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Adapter

Pros: Worked as advertised with my laptop's 100-240v 50/60Hz AC adapter in Argentina & Chile.

    Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: A co-worker from Mexico fried out his electric shaver because he didn't realize that this unit is only a plug adapter; it does not convert either the voltage or the frequency of alternating current. If you're unfamiliar with electrical stuff, save yourself some heartache & read up on traveling with electronic devices. And find at least two good sources before you decided something should work. I read 4 different websites that told me four different things about what adapter I needed for Argentina. For Rosario, Santa Fe, this worked like a charm.

    4 out of 5 eggs

    Pros: Please see cons

Cons: I misstated in my previous review when i said "no ground".
It does not have a ground for all countries on the male side.

    5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Does exactly what it's made to do. It's all in one unit, which means you aren't going to lose any parts.

Cons: I can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: The main reason I am placing this review is because another reviewer said, "Doesn't accept the 3 prong style USA plugs that most laptops/monitors/computers use." This is not true. I have been using it all week with a 3-prong U.S. plug into the female side. The circular ground prong that is the third prong of a U.S. plug goes into a rectangular slot on the Kensington adapter. It fits right in; I did not force it.
